Everything exceeded our expectations! The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making us feel right at home. The RV was spotless and welcoming, stocked with thoughtful goodies like coffee, snacks, and candy (and more!). We appreciated the attention to detail and cleanliness - it was a GREAT.This was our first time staying in an RV, and we were blown away by the experience. Would definitely recommend and return!"

Quick getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the River RV so much! We had pups with us and loved all the outdoor space they had to play. The hospitality was top notch!! Communication with Curtis was great. We felt so welcomed and the camper is so cozy. Such a sweet little home away from home. If we get the chance we will definitely be back!! Thank you for having us. :)

Home away from Home

Our family of four had the most relaxing time staying here. This camper had everything you need and more. I especially loved all the pioneer women decor! Our family needed a place to just unwind and relax. With both of our kids in college and nearing the end of their semester this was the best place for them to unplug. We loved visiting Smithville and loved the antique stores. We also went into Bastrop and went to the farmers market and enjoyed all the stores downtown. We enjoyed floating the river the best, even though some of us got burnt. Curtis was the best host, making sure we had everything we need.

Country Paradise.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet getaway to take the fur babies and this place was perfect! The RV was very clean, well put together, and had everything you could possibly need (My wife was in love with the decor!). We were really impressed with all the little amenities. The dogs had a blast in the open meadow and they totally enjoyed the river. Curtis and Amber were amazing hosts. Their communication with us top tier and they provided a wealth of information before and after we arrived. They even have little notes posted around the RV to help. Overall, we can't say enough good things about our stay. If we could rate it higher than a 5, we would!!!

Great Family Getaway

We wanted to get away from Houston for the weekend to relax and this was perfect! The trailer had absolutely everything you could need which made cooking a breeze. The owners were next door and extremely responsive. We had a wonderful time fishing down at the river and flying kites with the kids. Our city dogs loved being able to roam the property. The only improvement we could think of was having an awning off the trailer or shelter over one of the picnic tables to get out of the sun.

I wish we could stay longer!

We were in town visiting family, so we got there later than we intended, then left the next morning. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! The RV is set up beautifully and you feel right at home. I especially loved the cabinet and drawers all being labeled, instructions for everything were very clear, and they have you covered if you forget anything! It’ll definitely be saved for our next trip to town.

Perfect weekend getaway

This was the best place to go for a weekend getaway. Quiet, beautiful. Everything you need is in the RV and it's neatly labeled so you don't really have to look for anything. Curtis is super pro active about making sure you have everything you need. It's close enough to everything and far away enough from everything.

Peaceful Getaway

Overnight getawa

Property was close enough to Smithville for us to spend time exploring, but far enough out to feel like we were in the country. It was quiet, clean, well-stocked, and exactly like the pictures. The only thing we had trouble figuring out was the TV. It was on when we got there, we tried all the remotes, but we were never able to change the volume or turn it off (the Roku screensaver is silent so that wasn't a problem). That was just one tiny thing, though, and we had a very nice stay. We would definitely return to stay at the river RV again.

Wow, I came here to get some quiet time and work done, and it rocked! Secluded and quiet, exceptionally stocked and organized. Why would I do a hotel after this experience? Great place to get away!

A Piece of Heaven

We loved our time and stay at River RV. It was so peaceful and quite. Our host Curtis was very friendly and helpful. The RV was well stocked, clean and had everything you needed to feel and be comfortable. The scene from the RV to the river was beautiful, mowed and well kept. We enjoyed the sounds of birds, and the neighborhood was so peaceful, and only a few minuets from town. We were able to go and visit Bastrop Park and Lake, as well as Buschers Park and fish on the Colorado river. I reccomend River RV for anyone needing to get away for some quite and serene time. Thankyou Curtis for an adventure we will always remember, and hope to come back one day soon. Gary and Dottie.
