Unbeatable view, cozy fireplace and lovely wrap around balcony & porch. Plenty of space, warm and well done decor. Spacious bedrooms, large bathrooms, equipped kitchen and towels/linens were also nice. The most wonderful and helpful hosts! Can’t wait go back again

This was a wonderful trip for my wife and I on our anniversary. The cabin was very clean and very well appointed. The weather wasn’t the best while we were there so we just stayed in the cabin, cozy by the fireplace.
The fog broke for a little while a gave us a great sunset.
We took this sitting by the fire pit, looking back toward the cabin.

We had an amazing stay at this mountain cabin! The views were absolutely spectacular, and the privacy made it the perfect place to unwind and disconnect from the world with our pups. The cabin itself was cozy and inviting, and we loved ending our days by the fire pit outside or the fireplace inside on the colder nights. Everything was clean and well cared for, and Olivia was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout our stay. There were so many beautiful hiking trails and scenic drives nearby—we were never short on things to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would definitely stay again!

A Peaceful Escape in the Kiamichi Mountains

This was my second stay at Ridge Trail Cabin, and it was just as magical as the first—this time for a girls’ weekend with my 4 sisters. The cabin is tucked away in the secluded beauty of the Kiamichi Mountains, offering crisp mornings, incredible sunsets, and refreshingly cool evenings—especially in May. The dark night sky was perfect for stargazing.With no Wi-Fi and barely any cell service, it was the ideal setting to unplug, catch up, and truly recharge - we came prepared. We enjoyed scenic drives, nearby hiking trails, and plenty of quality time together.If you're looking for a peaceful getaway to reconnect with nature—and each other—this is the perfect place. I’ll definitely be back again.

Beautiful retreat

Loved being on top of a mountain, with no city noise. Waking up to the sounds of chirping birds after a heavy thunderstorm. It felt peaceful out here. 2nd time we book this cabin. And for sure, Not the last time we will be here.

Beautiful views and very quiet. We had zero cell service but we had brought a satellite internet connection with us. Cabin is beautiful. Be sure to bring food and drinks as it’s quite remote. Kitchen is well equipped- but remember to bring your coffee/tea!

Absolutely beautiful

The cabin was very remote but worth the drive. It’s not only beautiful on the inside but the views are spectacular. Comfortable beds, pillows, couch’s, and the fireplace is amazing. They had games and dvds to watch when it was raining and we weren’t able to go out and enjoy. Plenty of pots and pans to cook with and it was extremely clean. We will definitely be back.

Cabin Maintenance: The cabin had a persistent unpleasant smell upon entry. While we understand it’s an older property, this impacted our comfort. The door knobs on both the restroom and the front door (with a digital keypad) were broken, making them difficult to use. Towels provided were soiled and smelled unpleasant, which was disappointing given the cost of the stay. Bedsheets had an awful smell as well as the mattress. Outdoor Lighting and Accessibility: The cabin was in complete darkness from the outside, except for the porch light. Navigating the area was challenging and unnerving, particularly as no guidance about road conditions or driving directions in the dark was provided. Other properties in the area seemed to have better lighting, which made the lack of lighting for this cabin even more noticeable. Lack of Amenities: While we were aware the cabin had no internet or Wi-Fi, the overall condition and missing amenities did not justify the high rate. We believe these issues detracted from what could have been a lovely and relaxing stay. We hope you consider addressing these concerns for future guests and improving the overall experience.
