We had an amazing winter weekend here with friends. The cabin was spacious, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for—secluded, peaceful, and right on the lake. Perfect setup for an ice fishing weekend, but just as great for relaxing by the fire, cooking together, and unplugging from real life for a bit.Everything was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked. The host was responsive and easy to work with, which made the whole stay seamless. Waking up to the quiet lake and woods was a highlight.If you’re looking for a true Maine getaway with plenty of space for a group and a great balance of comfort and outdoors, this place delivers. We’d absolutely come back.

We really enjoyed Amy's cabin, everything was perfect! The kitchen is well-equipped and has everything. We enjoyed walking on the ice (the ice was thick and solid) and sledding. There is also a small mountain within 30 min for skiing and cross-country. The house is perfect for family getaways!

If I could give it 10 stars, I would! A wonderful cabin, beautifully appointed with everything you need and more. Plenty of towels, dishes, bedding…even the firewood was provided! Amy made the check in and the check out process super easy & convenient. Great quiet & peaceful location. Beside the gorgeous foliage on East Pond, we saw loons, beavers, eagles and deer! It was a perfect week!

The host was amazing. The cabin was well provisioned, no need to buy supplies. Enjoyed the whole stay beautiful view. Loved the proximity to the water, fire pit, and the kayaking. The cabin was just the right size for our family. Close enough to town and supplies but far enough to be quiet and peaceful.

The photos don’t do this house justice. It was perfect for 7 of us (3 adults and 4 teenagers). The living room had plenty of comfortable seating for movie nights. The outside covered wrap around porch was great for a morning coffee and quiet read before the kids got up. The house is so well appointed, anything you need you will find. The pond is really large (we were looking up what classifies a lake vs a pond) and super clean. If you’re looking for a quiet out of the way escape, Amy’s house is perfect.

Beautiful property- privately nestled in the woods but with private access to the lake. House is well-equipped with all kitchen needs easily met. Amy is super easy to work with, and kind and considerate also. Highly recommend!

We had a fabulous week on the lake. The house was beautiful and included everything we needed. The lake was perfect for us all…ages 6-78! Lots of swimming, kayaking and just enjoying the view. We have already reserved our week for next year.

Fantastic Home for Colby College or Family Events

Book this house, you will not regret it! We rented this for our youngest daughter's Colby graduation. Amy is very responsive and so easy to deal with. While the pictures of the home look great on line, they do not do it justice. First of, it was spotless when we checked in. It is spacious and well laid out. The kitchen was equipped with anything you could need or want. There is a charming path down to the beach area where Amy had laid up wood for us in the firepit and there are lots of chairs to relax and listen to the loons calling. The screen porch would be ideal for families with kids to play after dark or in case of inclement weather. We didn't get to spend much time in the house as there were lots of grad activities, but the house is well stocked with books a, games and DVDs .We have had 2 kids go through Colby and have rented many houses over the years and hands down this was the best one! We'd go back in a heartbeat.

Exceptional camp on a secluded pond. The hosts went above and beyond making sure our family had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Literally everything we could have hoped for in our stay was available on the property.
