We loved this house. The view was spectacular and the beach was wonderful. We stayed for a week with 3 couples and there was plenty of room for all of us. The sunroom was a lovely place to watch the sunset, as well as the storm we were lucky enough to experience while we were there. The kitchen was well appointed, and we lacked for nothing. Everyone really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the ample parking. We would definitely stay here again.

We are again so grateful to have the opportunity to return to Smiths Beach and stay at this wonderful home. The home has everything you could ask for and more. The owners are the epitome of southern hospitality . the rare time we have called with a question or concern they answered immediately. The grounds are quite large and the view of the bay from the porch and kitchen are beautiful. The sunsets are spectacular. We think it's the best home on the beach and we have stayed at many over the past 50 years.

This efficient little property on the Eastern Shore was home for a week to grandparents, parents and grandchildren. It was nicely appointed and had a wonderful view and pretty awesome beach. It was a little tight for our eight people, including three children under ten and we didn't have as much July sunshine as we wanted. Overall, though, a lovely, clean and comfortable spot with lots of fun amenities and close to shopping and Cape Charles.

We had a fantastic week at this property- it was perfect for our family. Jeff and Andrea were great- the instructions were clear and the house was everything that was advertised and more. Our October getaway was met with pleasant sunny weather with some windy days. We enjoyed the knotty pine interior and great sunsets every night. We thoroughly enjoyed the fishing and kayaking around Smith beach. Our host was very responsive to the few questions we had. Thanks for a great stay.

Needs ice maker in frig And new vacuum cleaner thaw one there is shot. Has not ever been cleaned out . So brought my own….0thereise well stocked. Very nice house. Beautiful sunsets.

The property was well equipped with plenty of room for all. The view is wonderful and the beach is very accessible for trips back and forth to the house. I recommend this beach house if you are interested in enjoying what the Chesapeake Bay has to offer in comfort along with gorgious sunsets!

This property was perfect for my little family. The views and sunset were beautiful and I already miss having coffee on the screen porch and ending the day watching the sunset. The sandy beach was perfect form my 3 and 6 year old grandchildren. The AC was not working when we arrived but the owners took care of it immediately and had someone fix it the next morning. There is a keurig coffee maker but not a regular coffee pot. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and will most likely book again next year.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The view from the house was fabulous, and the sunsets were spectacular. We loved how private and quiet everything was, and not having to walk over massive dunes to get to the beach was a bonus. Looking at next year’s calendar now!
