"We needed somewhere last minute and I don’t think we could have had any more luck. Really nice rooms, breakfast was brilliant and the staff were so friendly. They contacted us immediately when they found a watch of ours. Fully recommend staying here!"

"We booked this hotel very last minute and it was one of the few left available in the area. The staff were lovely although the manager was less so helpful and rather lazy! Rooms were clean but very tired and need a complete update including the plumbing where water drains so slowly from the sink and the toilet flush almost impossible to do! They no longer do any sort of food which is a shame as the website shows a dining area and people enjoying the menu. The atmosphere was zero in the evening...

"A delightful little hotel. Staff were all pleasant and helpful, our room was spacious light and airy overlooking the beach . Quality of bedding and towels are lovely. Food very nicely cooked, good choice of menu, no greasy breakfasts, all well presented. Good variation of dinner menu. South sands beach is lovely, perfect for families. My only hesitation is that if you don’t want to drive whilst on holiday the walk to the next beach, north sands, is a very steep walk uphill and then a further...

"All in all the stay at browns was fab. My only issue would be floor in the bathroom needed repairing as wooden floor had gaps and discoloured with the shower bottom also in the same condition. However fan hotel and very friendly staff with good location. Dartmouth is a beautiful place."

En ese sentido muy decepcionada; optas por un hotel por unas características que al final no corresponden con la realidad. Es entonces cuando la calidad/precio no están equilibradas."

"A lovely friendly welcome upon arrival. Parking nearby easily available. Room perfect for us as a family. Very comfortable beds, had a wonderful nights sleep! Great location. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. Poached eggs were beautiful. Would definitely recommend and return. Went above and beyond for a very excited 10 year olds imminent birthday. Wonderful couple and a wonderful stay. Thank you. ☺️"

"Bedroom comfortable, lift out of order"

"Room was exceptional y clean. Very very hot fan was supplied but did absolutely nothing (it was the hottest few days) Only one window could open and that was a maximum of 3 inches We will book again but study the facilities much closer . Slightly misleading when you read the descriptions where it says "hotel apartments" Staff were very friendly and cheerful"

"Clean and quiet, very comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even when I’d asked about a bowling club in Modbury that a family member used, the lovely bar staff said she’d find out for me. Fantastic full English with great sausages. Nothing seemed too much trouble Thanks for a great stay at a difficult time."

"Incredible hotel, couldn’t recommend more. The only fault I could find was the WiFi. It was a very weak connection that fell in and out of connection every single day, normally wouldn’t be a big issue but obviously you don’t have any data in that location either. Other than that, spectacular!!"

"What an amazing find. I have been going to Brixham since I was 6 years old (now 40) and had never stayed here, but so happy I did. Super friendly staff and the breakfast was amazing. Keep it up guys! I would definitely recommend and stay again without hesitation."
