Hotel estupendo
Hemos pasado unos días en Skagway y hemos tenido mucha suerte con el hotel que contratamos. Todo perfecto Skagway es precioso al igual que las posibilidades que tiene de disfrutar de una naturaleza asombrosa.

Comfortable Rooms. But they still use the Old Metal Keys, the wifi does not work in your rooms (u have to go into the lobby to use it), the TV's don't come in clear (can hear everything just fine, but all my years staying at this hotel ever being able to see anything on the screen). They don't have regular cleaning service, u have to Request to have your room cleaned. Then you have a 10am Check Out time, which feels weird and early. No breakfast brunch option yet, sounds like it starts this week. But when we went to it last year at 7am, half of the food we got was cold, which makes No Sense at all. Also they don't offer any type of Refrigerators for your rooms. So you are basically paying for a bed and bathroom, which are both good, it reminds me of renting a room from the 90's but at 2024 Prices

This is a nice hotel. But had issues during this stay. Comfortable rooms and pretty much around most things. But they still use the Actual Keys, u can’t see anything on the TV, no wifi in the actual hotel rooms, don’t offer refrigerators in rooms. They make u fill out some paperwork to park in the Hotel Only Parking Lot, but Don’t Enforce anything to keep other ppl from also parking there. Spent 45 minutes driving around looking for a parking space, finally park somewhere else in a 2 hour parking spot. Go back, count the first 2 rows of vehicles parked in the hotel parking lot, count 18 vehicles that don’t have the proper paperwork to be parked there. Go tell the front desk, just to be told, oh there isn’t anything we can do about this. Voice my concerns about the other things stated up above, none of it was there fault. It’s All Corporates Fault and there is nothing that can be done about it. So comfortable rooms and just hope u don’t need to keep any of your medicine refrigerated, because things like that aren’t currently offered at this location. So think early 90’s hotel room, but with a cute small flat screen

I am very sorry to hear that you stay was not up to the standards that we strive for.The parking situation this past weekend was certainly not ideal and I apologize that you were unable to find a spot in a timely manner. This is not an issue that we typically experience, we generally have more than enough parking available. We had a much higher number of vehicles than we see any other time of year due to the Victoria Day holiday in Canada.In regards to the refrigerator, I am sorry you were not provided with the correct information, but we do offer refrigerators specifically for guests with medication. We are not always able to provide refrigerators for guests who do not require them for medication.

Important to note check-in time was 2pm with check-out by 10am. Busy property largely dedicated to cruise ship clients. Convenient location from which to explore Skagway. Room was small - definitely could use an update. Staff not the most friendly-perhaps they work long hours. Few other accommodation options in Skagway.

Good location
Nice hotel in an older, historical structure. Good location: close to ferry and railroad depot. Unfortunately no elevator and nobody to help carrying heavy suitcases upstairs. Room ok but view of a cluttered back court.

No wifi in rooms only in lobby and restaurant but a hidden wifi not easy to join, expensive mediocre buffet, ran out of coffee English muffins and more, no elevator, not all rooms easily accessible, a lot of money for what you get.

Staff were nice and pleasant to deal with. I and my two young kids were given a room on the second floor furthest away from the lobby. The connection for the cable TV was brutal - very snowy. I called the front desk and they sent two people to try and make it better (i.e. tighten the connections). They were unsuccessful, but nice about it. Theymentioned it being the room furthest away, and also the weather, etc, etc. Wi-fi is only available in the lobby area.

Very nice location, friendly staff. Be forewarned, no wifi in rooms, no ac in rooms, if you open the window to cool the room you will endure loud music from the bar next door, and for our room - the banging lid of the dumpster below.

Pretty good stay
Easy check-in, room was ready an hour before check-in. Room is fairly small but fine for a short stay. Centrally located to everything. Breakfast ends really early - 9am, so we didn't get to try it and there is no where else to have breakfast in town. You have to wait until 11am until the restaurants open and it's only lunch tupe food. Overall good stay.

Nice place, very comfortable, helpful staff, with one unusual feature: the internet can only be used in the sitting area on the first floor near the front desk. Means that you can't use your computer in your room or elsewhere. Never experienced such a restriction before.

Very nice staff. Good breakfast. Staff let us leave our car parked for the day after we checked out, while we went on a tour of a glacier.

The hotel was really cute. I enjoyed the decor and ambiance, it added to the experience of being in Skagway. Very clean, staff were friendly, and the bed was comfy. Great location, right in town and very walkable to shops and restaurants. The only downside was that the tv was a bit staticky and the wifi only worked in the lobby and lounge areas but that definitely did not ruin our stay. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend it to other travellers.

Clean and close to everything. My room was small, but did the trick. The lack of wifi in the rooms is behind-the-times and an inconvenience for travelers, especially from outside the U.S. who may have limited phone/internet capabilites or need to pay an arm and a leg to engage them. There's no A/C either and it was rather humid during my visit. There was a fan in the room which helped somewhat. A recurring theme throughout many (but certainly not all) businesses in tourism-heavy Skagway, the overall experience at this hotel can be rather impersonal and transactional, with not a lot of pleasantries or extra-mile service offered or involved. The person checking me in wasn't particularly interested in anything other than getting my ID, giving me the key and getting back to whatever he was doing when I arrived, which left me feeling more like a pest than a guest. The ten a.m. checkout caters to the cruise ship crowd and if you're not out by then, staff will be calling you because the next tide of visitors will be coming in shortly. That said, if you want to spend a fun night on the town after most of the tourists get back on the ship, it's close to the Bonanza, the Red Onion and Happy Endings bar one street over from Broadway, all of which I would recommend checking out. It could get better at the quasi-warm fuzzies and put wifi throughout the building but, overall, it's clean and usually has rooms when other places in town are booked up.
