"First impression of the hotel at check-in was exceptional- Stephen was very welcoming and friendly, and we knew it was going to be an incredible stay! In fact, encounters with the staff from bartender, restaurant and housekeeping were all friendly, engaging, and positive.
The location was serene and relaxing with incredible 360-degree views of mountains and pastures! Inside, there were several cozy areas to relax and unwind. I would also recommend booking a dinner reservation for fine dining as...

"Room was very clean the view from the room was looking over the river, having a balcony was lovely if it was summer time it would have been lovely sitting outside. Room 204 highly recommend. Evening meal of chicken supreme was excellent. "

"We had an absolutely excellent stay. The food was outstanding, every meal was beautifully prepared. The staff could not do enough for us throughout our visit; they were warm, attentive, and made us feel completely looked after from start to finish.
The location was perfect for what we wanted, and we honestly couldn’t have picked a better hotel. Everything came together to make our stay exceptional.

"Dalegarth Guest House was exceptional. We had a wonderful stay. Lovely comfortable room, great breakfast and excellent welcoming hosts. Beautiful location with lovely views of the lake and garden. We would definitely visit again."
