"A lovely hotel in spectacular surrounds. Sophie at front of house welcomed us warmly and gave us all the info we needed, she's a treasure.
The room was gorgeous, spacious, clean with a lovely view to boot! Very appreciative of the luxury of it all after walking Derwentwater!
We enjoyed thoroughly our dinner at the restaurant, and breakfast was a real treat!
Highly recommend - a wonderful place to unwind and relax!"

"We stayed only 1 overnight on the way down from scotland. We could see lot of people staying for visiting the lakes. The hotel is in a very nice location. They are also pet friendly and they provided us a towel and a bowl for the dog. We highly recommend both breakfast and set menù dinner which was very nice. Room was clean and bathroom looked recently renewed."

"First impression of the hotel at check-in was exceptional- Stephen was very welcoming and friendly, and we knew it was going to be an incredible stay! In fact, encounters with the staff from bartender, restaurant and housekeeping were all friendly, engaging, and positive.
The location was serene and relaxing with incredible 360-degree views of mountains and pastures! Inside, there were several cozy areas to relax and unwind. I would also recommend booking a dinner reservation for fine dining as...
