"Hall is looking tired on the outside with visable broken and boarded up windows at the very top. Room was dated, we stayed in the Munro studio, no windows that open and looks directly onto the back entrance so needed to keep blinds down otherwise people could see straight in as this is a ground floor room. Opposite kitchen so could smell the cooking. What made this stay was the lovely staff and evening meals were great"

"If you ever go to the Lake District for hiking or whatever, consider going to Keswick. I've been traveling internationally and domestically for 47 years, but I've never experienced the hospitality that we received from Chris and Allison. To say they go the extra mile is an understatement. They go the extra 100. Every day Allison would make us a magnificent, home cooked breakfast, while Chris would actually walk us out to make sure we found the right route to the fell we were climbing that day....
