"A wonderful pet friendly hotel in the heart of Grasmere. It was decorated beautifully, and the room we had was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious, with a range of cooked options and a buffet style breakfast too (not to mention the dog got a sausage every morning!). Our only feedback would be that our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, though it was only three nights. It would’ve been good to have the mugs and water jug refreshed, however I’m sure if we’d asked this would’ve...

"Set in a beautiful village this accomodation stands out withbits exterior decor. Parking is a short walk away and not onsite but this isnt gar and not a problem. "Great place to stay for a few days rest and relaxation. The location is great for walks, dog walks, beach walks or just having a few days in a quiet location to chill. The hotel manager (Caroline) and staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. The bar and restaurant are constantly busy with locals and visitors that makes for a great friendly atmosphere.
