We have been traveling to Door County for 36 years and usually stay in Egg Harbor or Fish Creek, but decided to try somewhere different and it worked out well.This place is clean and has a comfortable bed! We always appreciate that when traveling.We brought our small dog and he did well on our walks around the property and down roads nearby.The bakery below was visited daily by us and the food delicious.My husband ate the same bagel everyday and I bought a large bag of granola there that was enjoyed daily and brought home to enjoy.The owner was responsive to questions when asked.This place is also in close driving range to so many beautiful parks (we are hikers and bikers), restaurants, and seasonal attractions.We are thankful for our stay here.

Nice Location, Clean Place

Stayed here with my partner. Everything from Check-in to check-out was smooth as can be! Beautiful upper unit that feels remote but has so much to do nearby! Next time we plan a trip to door county, we will be looking for this listing!

Wonderful place to stay when visiting Door County

The listing was exactly as listed. If we wanted we had everything needed to cook our meals in the small but fully furnished kitchen, plus a washer and dryer if needed. It was spacious, updated and had the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. It is only minutes away from town . On the ground level is a bakery that has the most amazing bagels I have ever had, including those in NYC. The host was very prompt in responding to any questions we had. Definitely will stay here next time we return to Door County. Can't go wrong with this rental.

Great place!

We stayed just one night but the location was very close to Sister Bay which we love. Very clean and communication with the host was fast and easy. It is above a bakery and you can smell the aromas in the early morning but it was not bad. It smelled quite good and we did decide to wait to leave until the bakery opened so we could give it a try. Wow - so delicious!! Highly recommend. Also you can’t go to Door County without trying Cultured. Yum!

Cute, Cozy, Convenient!

What a wonderful gem! The location is wonderful - quick drive to Sister Bay, quick drive to Ephraim. You truly have everything you need in this studio. Cute little kitchen, nice little living room space, quaint little dining room area, comfortable king size bed (the pillows were like marshmallows - so cozy!), and a generous sized bathroom/shower. This is a good sized studio - our family of four + our pup had plenty of space to stretch our legs. It's really a great spot! They put a lot of thought into creating this space - it's nicely furnished, well-kept, and clean. The host, Tom, is wonderful and very responsive! He truly wants you to be comfortable and enjoy your stay.

Perfect house!

Tom and crew were amazing and accommodating to work with. It easily fit 2 people and a pup, with plenty of space. The house was very very clean and close to multiple locations. Highly recommend!!

Enjoyed our stay

Clean and convenient location. There is some noise from the bakery downstairs but there is a fan provided that drowns it out. We very much enjoyed it and would stay again.

What a gem!!!!

We had a wonderful stay in the Bird's Nest studio!! From the start, communication with Tom was a breeze. He was responsive, helpful, and made sure we settled in well on arrival and everything was going smoothly during our vacation. The studio is lovely, very spacious with plenty of room for 4 of us. The location is ideal for getting just about everywhere in northern Door County. We were only minutes to Ephraim, Sister Bay and Fish Creek, but also explored Ellison Bay and Egg Harbor easily. We stayed over a weekend so the bakery below was open and wow, what a delightful and absolutely delicious spot. Best bagels in the world, so if it's open, make sure you stop in for breakfast or lunch. I've been coming to Door County since I was a child and this gem was a wonderful find. We'd definitely stay again! Thank you for your warm welcome and sharing your beautiful home with us!

Perfect stay near Sisters Bay with amazing Bakery!

This was a perfect property for our trip to Door County! Great location that put us 3 minutes from downtown S. Bay & Ephraim, but the location put us close to Bailys Harbor & Fish Creek in 10 minutes. The Bakery below in open 3 days per week and has amazing food and scents. The bagel sammie is a perfect way to start your day! The property was very clean, and the perfect size for us. We did not need anything during our stay, but the owner reached out & was available if needed. Highly Recommend! Thanks for a great stay!

Feels brand new

This is a really well done space. Nicely laid out, clean, feels new. There is a tall flight of stairs to access in the back of the building which is a bakery. The signage is not visible at night, but the smells are amazing in the morning! Some lights to help show the way to the back would be nice since it was a bit confusing arriving in the dark. Otherwise, this is a really comfortable, lovely place to stay with an accommodating and communicative host. I would come back for sure.

Nice and quiet and clean! The studio felt very spacious and the windows allowed in a lot of natural light. We loved that we could bring our pup along with us for the first time. The location is perfect… very close to many Door County attractions. The instructions for check in and check out were very easy to follow. We only wished the bakery was open for a delicious breakfast!
