Beautiful property

This was such a lovely house to stay at the beds were comfortable, and there was an ample space for all of us. The owner was lovely and met us and gave us a tour. Was definitely a lovely stay.

Great house super well equipped

We spent 2 days with friends to celebrate our sons’5th birthday and we had a great time!The house is supper well equipped, including the rolls Royce of the barbecue.All the rooms are spacious, including the terrace.The surrounding is nice too and all green.We had a great time !

Amazing place!

My family and I really enjoyed staying here. The place was amazingly beautiful and everything was perfect. This place is great if you want to visit Brugge, Ghent and Antwerpen and also if you want to disconnect and just enjoy a quiet place. Just keep it in mind that you need a car to get here. We would love to stay here again soon.

Heerlijke dagen gehad in dit ruim en complete ingericht vakantiehuis.

We hebben heerlijke dagen gehad. Het huis was ruim en zeer compleet ingericht. Bijna alles was aanwezig. We hoefde alleen nog maar levensmiddelen te kopen. Je hebt wel een auto nodig om erop uit te gaan. Directe omgeving was heel rustig, maar heerlijk om te wandelen, of te fietsen. Service was ook goed. Mijn man was 50 geworden en mijn dochter mocht een dag eerder (woont er vlakbij) het huis versieren. Contact met eigenaresse verliep goed en snel.

Flandern auf dem Lande in einem tollen Ferienhaus

Abgelegen von jeglichem Massen-Tourismus mitten in der Natur verbrachten wir einen ruhigen Urlaub in einem perfekten ausgestatteten und liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus. Das Wohnzimmer ist stilvoll eingerichtet und lichtdurchflutetet mit Blick auf die Felder. WLAN und 2 Fernseher mit Satellitenfernsehen und allen deutschen Programmen machten den Aufenthalt perfekt. Die Küche mit hochwertigen Küchengeräten und mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Kochen benötigt, ließ keine Wünsche offen. Soviel gute Schneide-Messer haben wir in 20 Jahren Erfahrung mit Ferienhäusern noch nicht erlebt. Fahrten nach Brügge, Gent, Antwerpen und Ypern sind gut möglich, aber auch den niederländischen Teil von Flandern und Zealand besuchten wir mit wunderbaren Städtchen und guten Restaurants, da das Haus nur weniger Kilometer von der Grenze entfernt ist. Wenn es einen kleinen Wehmutstropfen gibt, ist dass direkt am Haus die Landstraße von den Einheimischen trotz 50 km Beschränkung und Videoüberwachung gerne zum Rasen genutzt wird und morgens ab 7.30 Uhr das eine oder andere Fahrzeug die morgentliche Bettruhe etwas zerstören kann.

Truly a five star abode in the heart of Flanders

With all beds made and plenty of towels provided, we could feel right at home from minute one. The equal distance to Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp proved to be ideal. Across the boarder into Zeeland you find some quieter beaches at similar proximity. With just one bathroom for the four double/king beds, I wouldn't occupy this place to capacity, but for a family of four it was fantastic. The WiFi is based on 4G wireless, which our teenagers used up in hurry. Extra data volume was quickly provided, but if you plan to lock yourself up watching Netflix, this is not the place to go. Alternatively, if you're speaking Nederlands, the library would be enough for several winters. The landlords where quick in answering all queries and perfectly unobtrusive during the stay, which is quite a feat given that the occupants are entrusted with such a fine property. Gas BBQ, Miele applicances, freezer and big fridge, laundry machine and dryer. You can use the indoor garage, but leaving the car out on the lot next to the house suited us well enough. Bruges does have an overtourism problem in summer. We're likely to come again, but in a different season. When we found the place on this platform, we immediately knew it might be special. That was fully confirmed during the stay. Thank you, Annelies & Filip

A high quality property with great views all round

A big thank you to Annelies and Filip for creating such a wonderful and relaxing ‘home from home’, offering everything we needed, together with some thoughtful additional luxuries. This was our first visit to Belgium and the house was perfectly situated for visits to Bruges and Ghent, as well as being near to the beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this peaceful location, watching the farmers working in the fields around the house and exploring the walking routes just outside the door. We would highly recommend this property.
