Great spot right on the beach!!! Recommend renting a car to get around as not really walking distance to any restaurants but there is a nice beach bar just a few minutes down from the apartment. The apartment is beautiful! Nicely decorated, spacious bedrooms, modern bathrooms. We enjoyed the rooftop for sunset! Would definitely recommend!

From the moment we walked in, the views were unreal — wall-to-wall oceanfront with turquoise water stretching as far as you can see. The condo itself is massive — nearly 4,000 sq ft — so it felt more like a private villa than a rental. Every room was beautifully designed, upscale but still relaxed and beachy.The highlight for us was the outdoor space. Three separate balconies, each with a different vantage point of Simpson Bay. Morning coffee watching the boats come in… sunset cocktails with the breeze coming off the water… it never got old.And the private hot tub on the penthouse terrace? Next level. Sitting in the jacuzzi at night under the stars, listening to the waves crash right below — honestly one of the most relaxing experiences we’ve ever had on a trip.The upper-floor balcony gave you that true penthouse feel — total privacy, panoramic views, and plenty of space to lounge or entertain. You could easily host friends or family and never feel crowded.Location was perfect too — directly on the beach, steps into the sand, with restaurants and nightlife just a short drive away when you wanted to go out.If you’re considering a high-end stay in Sint Maarten, this place is worth every penny. Between the size, the multiple balconies, beachfront access, and that incredible hot tub setup — it’s the kind of property you don’t forget.

The condo is absolutely gorgeous. The spacious patios are amazing and the views out of this world. Loved having morning coffee on the balcony off the master suite. All the fixtures were very high end and the condo was incredibly well stocked. The beach in front of the property was gorgeous--white sand and crystal clear turquoise water.

A slice of paradise

Absolutely loved my stay at this VRBO vacation home! The property is absolutely beautiful and in a fantastic location — everything was so convenient yet peaceful. The home was spotless and had everything you could possibly need to feel completely at home, making the stay super comfortable. Communication with the host was a breeze; they were quick to respond and incredibly helpful. The parking was easy and hassle-free, which made coming and going stress-free. Plus, the view from the home was stunning — truly the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. I can’t recommend this place enough and would happily stay here again!

Perfect.

Loved the penthouse. Beach was amazing. Loved having lounge chairs and floats. Had issues with dryer. Never could get it to dry beach towels. Upstairs bedrooms stayed warm. Could use fans up there. Was impressed with response time by Simona. Tv in living room needs to be updated. We could not get Netflix to load. Was impressed with stocking of essentials. We will definitely stay again and also recommend to friends and online.

Beautiful property. Great views. Quiet beach with master bedroom to die for. Beach chairs, loungers, and floating devices provided for free, so no stress. Gated beach access. Beautiful patio where we ate all our meals and celebrated with island drinks. Roof top lounge, whirlpool and grill are great. Watching planes from the rooftop is cool. Can walk to Maho beach from there and watch the landings from the beach bar. Cool. Condo has secure parking and an elevator which helps a lot upon arrival and departure.

Fantastic experience!

Just returned after a week at the Penthouse with my wife and two other couples. The condo is spacious and well appointed. The views from main deck and roof top are as advertised! Beach was perfect. Only question for us is when we’ll be back. Loved everything. Second time on Simpson Bay & in Sint Maarten and highly recommend a visit.

Simpson Bay Penthouse Charm

Le Papillon Penthouse is exactly as it is presented - beautiful, spacious, clean and full of amenities. The manager and owner were responsive and always helpful.We stayed with our adult children and their significant other. There was plenty of space for the six of us!It is located on the most beautiful beach on the island...you won't want or need to leave! Catamaran excursions came to our beach every day it is so beautiful. We had beach chairs/lounges available, beach towels and plenty of "floaties" to use in the water.There were many wonderful restaurants close by and around the island. Our favorites were Palapa Grill, Bamboo House, Big Fish, Skip Jacks and La Terrasse. We rented a car and had to plan accordingly to the SLOW traffic on the island.This property is located beside the airport. The noise from the planes was never a problem. In fact, it was fun watching the planes land and take off so close to us.We 100% recommend this property and would stay here again if we plan another vacation here.

This property was exactly how it was advertised. Very spacious. You almost only needed your toothbrush. The refrigerator was well stocked, there was coffee and tea and Nespresso and spices and alcohol and condiments. I would highly recommend this unit.
