Fantastic

We had a great experience at Bob’s property. So much space we especially loved the back porch, which is where we spent every morning having coffee and every evening when we got back from our beach days and dinners. We were surprised that the pool was so nice and cool. We expected it to be really hot, but it wasn’t at all- so refreshing. We felt safe- a security guard was right outside the property. All the beach chairs, an umbrella, lots of Floaties for the pool, a cooler, lots of beach towels - all provided in addition to so many extras that you don’t expect like garbage bags, laundry detergent, dish soap, hand soaps, and even coffee was there for us! Bob was upstairs, but never intrusive and actually was a comfort to know he was close if we needed him. I loved the small beach located down the steps of the property- I loved walking up and down the surf, looking for sea glass and little bits of shells while inspecting all the little marine life on the beach. It was also fun to watch planes from the porch being located so close to Maho and the airport. Plane noise was never an issue. Air conditioner nice and cool, and the washer and dryer were handy. If we come to St Martin with my family, it would be the perfect place to stay again. Thank you for hosting us Bob!

A great place to stay

My wife and I stayed at Bobs place for 2 weeks. It’s was a great place to relax and recharge. The place is just as described. The view is amazing. It’s awesome to have your own pool as well as floats. There are chairs to take to the beach as well as an umbrella. There isn’t much else you could ask for. Thanks Bob for a great two weeks. We will definitely be back

Baywatch Perfection

Our stay at Baywatch was simply perfect- the location, the home, the outdoor space, the view, and the amenities. The location offers easy accessibility to the beaches, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and more in Maho, Lowlands, and Simpson Bay. The home is comfortable and spacious enough for 6 people. The outdoor space is wonderful offering both sun and shade plus a private pool and a wonderful ocean view. The view is amazing both day and night. The amenities Bob offers such as pool and beach accessories are added extras to help complete a vacation. Thank you Bob for everything and looking forward to a trip back as soon as possible..

Relax in Paradise

We just returned 2 days ago from our 8 night stay at Baywatch. Bob is a fantastic host and was always available if we had any questions. This property is very clean and so comfortable! Bob thinks of everything, from outdoor necessities at the private pool, which we loved, to small details like a nightlight in the bathroom. We had everything we needed, and for food shopping, Maho Market is so conveniently close. Having this view from Baywatch is awesome, overlooking the water and with great sunset views. Air conditioning in the property, but we only used the one in the bedroom at night. It's such a joy to open the 2 double patio doors and the windows and have refreshing breezes through the house. All furnishings are very clean and comfortable. We loved this house and would definitely return again.

Fantastic host and great place to stay

Bob is one of the best hosts you will come across. The place was fantastic. The deck with the private pool overlooking the ocean was the winner here. A short 5-10 minute walk to Maho. The place reminded me of a cottage. Has a nice rustic feel to it. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean.kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of drinking glasses. Beds were comfortable. Bin was a gracious host who met us and checked us in. He was there if we had any questions but was not intrusive. He leaves you alone unless you need him. I would stay again with Bob next time I visit the island.

Best VRBO I have ever rented

I cannot say enough good things about the property. It was impeccably clean, convenient for driving to restaurants and beaches. My biggest compliment is that everything that you need is there. I hate buying trash bags, paper towels etc for a few days stay. It's all in the house already. Even coffee filters for the drip coffee pot were there. So convenient. I am a sheet snob and the sheets were incredibly soft. All of the linens and furniture were very nice. The only sightly negative I would say is that the WIFi was spotty at times. If I ever go back to St Maarten, I will stay here again. The host was also great.

Perfect Getaway

We made a last minute decision to take a family trip to St. Maarten over Christmas Break. It was perfect. The property had a cancellation and opened up right when we wanted to visit. The pictures are very accurate. The three bedrooms are on the small side, but it was nice to have a bedroom and bath for each of our boys. The kitchen was adequate for breakfast and snacks. Grocery stores are plentiful. We could have fixed dinner, but there are so many good restaurants to explore. The location is near the airport and Maho Beach, so it's convenient to see the island. The pool was refreshing at the end of the day. The beach isn't really swimmable, but listening to the waves and being able to see the ocean while drinking a cup of coffee was the perfect way to begin the day. The owner (Bob) had someone there to greet us when we arrived. There are instructions posted where needed. The previous guests reported a broken toaster, and Bob had one for us to toast our bagels. Bob lives upstairs, was available, but not overbearing. He provided island recommendations and invited us to watch him perform. We would totally book a return visit.

Bob's place was awesome. We loved having the ocean in front of the place. We did use the pool a lot. My husband and I walked around the neighborhood in the mornings before our teenage daughters woke up. You are close to Maho Beach if you wanted to walk there instead of drive. We did have a couple of beach chairs to use while we were there. There were also noodles too. The place was clean and Bob was a great host.

Birthday Celebration Getaway

We landed in Sint Maarten 7/22 and left 7/28. Bob was up, ready, and eager to meet us at the property though we communicated prior to our arrival. We were given a full walk thru and warm welcome. Our stay was peaceful and quiet, which is what we wanted, though celebrating two birthdays. Bob was available for any questions or suggestions without being overbearing or invading our privacy. Will definitely stay again the next time we visit

Perfect Beach house

Bob was the best host. Communication was so easy before our trip and during our stay. Bob was out of town but made sure all our needs were met. Chevor checked us in and helped us find a tech store to buy a SIM card for our phone to use while on the island. The house is in the perfect location close to everything. The neighborhood felt very safe. The house and pool were exceptionally clean. Bob has the house stocked with everything you need. We loved drinking coffee sitting on the porch or on the beach every morning. We spent several days on the private beach and at the pool and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. We rented a car and explored the entire island. I would say, we definitely loved the Dutch side most and Bob’s house. When we come back, we’ll definitely stay with Bob again.

A piece of paradise

Bob’s place “made” our visit to Sint Maarten. The suite and deck facing southwest overlooks a vast stretch of ocean; the sunsets were breathtaking and the sound of the waves, delightful. The deck includes a small pool that is wonderfully refreshing. A short set of stairs leads from the deck onto a rock and sand shoreline from which you can enter the ocean to swim. Simpson Bay Beach is a short 5 min walk away – and an ideal place to swim, snorkel or lounge on the beautiful beachfront. The suite is on the main floor of a two-unit villa… Bob is a wonderful host– unobtrusive and yet immediately responsive when we had requests. The unit is clean, and the beds are comfortable. Overall, we highly recommend this suite for its comfort, location, spectacular view, and responsive host!

why we loved Baywatch at Beacon Hill

All the features we love about a rental property in the Caribbean were here. Rob's property is right on the ocean. Every morning I could walk down the short set of stairs from the patio into the water and begin snorkelling. It's rocky so bring water shoes, but the underwater landscape and the fish are endlessly fascinating. Rob is a terrific host. After kindly picking us up at the airport (it was late in the evening) he carefully showed us how everything worked in the property and we were able to settle in comfortably immediately. We especially appreciated having a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Everything worked beautifully. We rented a car and did explore some of the island. Rob thoughtfully provided chairs that we could have taken to the beaches without rental options. In the end, however, we didn't need them as our favourite beach bar was just a short walk away and fully equipped. If you stay at Baywatch and want to find a sandy beach with loungers, umbrellas and a great beach bar with excellent, friendly staff try Dinghy's.

Wonderful, relaxing house with amazing views!

We had an incredible stay at this spacious house. We enjoyed the back area with chairs, pool, hammock, and the awesome view (all day and at sunset). It was cool to watch planes coming in and going out (the noise was drowned out by the waves). We appreciated laundry facilities and lots of movie channels. I also loved walking across the road to watch the sunrise from the east side of the peninsula. Bob is the most laidback, accommodating owner we've ever met. There weren't even check out instructions, so we were relaxed from the time we arrived up to our late check out the last day. And the price is very reasonable for everything that you get. We recommend staying here!

Amazing Location! You will not want for anything.

We had a Great 8 day stay at this amazing location! You will not want for anything staying here because Bob has thought of it all & has you covered! We loved the location to everything. Maho Market is close for everything and shopped there at least 3 times, but we preferred shopping at the Carrefour Market in Cole Bay for the bigger shopping trips. We used Orders SXM ( Online order or download the app) for food delivery several times on our trip as they have multiple restaurants to choose from & it let us enjoy the wonderful sunsets this place has directly in front of it, every night was a great time watching the sunset & boats going by and you can watch the planes coming in for a landing at the airport close by. We loved having use of the pool, such a great way too cool off and enjoy the views from! Wished we could have seen Bob perform, but maybe next time!
