Slaley Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort
Great hotel and very friendly staff. Delicious salmon for dinner and breakfast was great. The room was very comfortable and big. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, which in my case was good, because that is what we were looking for.

The George Hotel
Good place to stay when walking Hadrian’s wall. Packed lunches are offered. The restaurant is nice too.

Langley Castle Hotel
Loved the decor & history of the hotel/castle. The free tour after breakfast was an added bonus. The only downside was the awful shower curtain over the bath.

Hygge at Vallum
We had a brilliant stay at the Hygge, it is tucked in the corner surrounded by open countryside, just beautiful. The quietness was appreciated and lovely. Pine Tree
Northern Hideaways, Sunnyside, Otterburn
Fabulous house in a lovely location, it was perfect for long walks . The house is very roomy with fab decor. Close to a lovely restaurant we we popped in gor drinks and food a few times over the weekend. Will definitely return in the sumner months.
