Great venue for our friends & family reunion with lots of interesting spaces for break-out sessions. Far enough away from the bustle of the Algarve coast to relax, close enough to the coast when we wanted it. Fantastic outdoor dining and pool area for large evening meals. Friendly hosts who were always available to help us out, and became friends with my mother-in-law!

We verbleven met ons gezin en het gezin van mijn schoonzus in dit vakantiehuis in Silves en hebben een fantastische tijd gehad. Het huis was ruim, netjes en volledig in orde. Ook het zwembad was heel aangenaam en goed onderhouden – ideaal om af te koelen en te ontspannen.De eigenaars zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en betrokken. Toen één van de kinderen ziek werd, gingen ze zelfs met ons mee naar het ziekenhuis om te helpen met vertalen en ondersteuning te bieden. Die hulp en warmte hebben we enorm gewaardeerd.Het huis ligt op een rustige locatie, wat erg aangenaam is voor wie houdt van rust en privacy. Alles was goed bereikbaar met de auto.

Great quiet place to discover the Algarve

This is an ideal place to stay, approximately 45 minutes drive from Faro airport. The property is spacious, with 5 bedrooms, so could easily accommodate a large group. Was very clean, and had a nice outdoor covered area with fridge and sink, so a great place to eat outdoors when required. The upper floor balcony had beautiful views over the hills. The owner lived on the adjacent farm behind and was a lovely host. He even gave a little tour around the orange and avocado trees on his farm. I would say having a car is a must. The town of Silves is only 10 minutes drive, where there is an old castle and plenty of places to eat. The coast, depending on where you go, is 30 to 40 minutes drive away. I'd also recommend the market on a Saturday morning in Loule. The house is very quiet, set on a small road, so a very pleasant place if thats what you are wanting.

Het is jammer dat ze geen vergunning krijgen om het zwembad te vernieuwen maar desondanks hebben we toch lekker gezwommen. Fernando en Marianne twee heel erg lieve mensen. De villa is verder heerlijk en mooi schoon.

Paradise

We loved Villa Rios. Fernando and family were very nice hosts, thanks for the great stay. Villa Rios is a clean and well equipped villa, and the garden and view is stunning. Everything was well maintained and we felt very welcome. Fresh oranges were delicious, thanks Fernando. The villa is a 10 min drive from Silves and 25 to several beaches.

La maison a dépassé nos attentes, les pièces sont grandes, la lumière présente et c’est meublé avec goût. Nous avons particulièrement apprécie le grand jardin avec espace cuisine, piscine chauffée et arbres fruitiers. L’accueil a ete chaleureux, les oranges et avocats délicieux. Mooi verblijf voor een gezinsvakantie

Goed onderhouden ruime villa met schitterende tuin. Uitermate geschikt voor een verblijf met meerdere personen. In de tuin, onder het afdak en aan de grote eettafel, hebben we vele uren doorgebracht met eten en gezelschapsspellen. Vanaf de eerste verdieping schitterend uitzicht richting zee. De foto's bij de advertentie liegen absoluut niet. Het meest vermeldenswaardige is toch wel de vriendelijkheid van de gastheer en zijn familie. Het was bijna of je elkaar al langere tijd kent. Hij komt op geregelde momenten een aantal overheerlijke, verse en zelf gekweekte citrusvruchten langsbrengen. En de avond voor vertrek kwam de gehele familie op hartelijke wijze afscheid nemen. Zijn er dan geen mindere punten? Wel degelijk, maar deze vallen wat ons betreft in het niet bij alle positieve ervaringen. Om ze dan toch te benoemen; auto benodigd want de villa ligt redelijk afgelegen, en met name de pannen zijn in de loop der tijd van mindere kwaliteit geworden. De twee grote koelkasten en andere huishoudelijke apparatuur zijn daarentegen weer prima. Fernando en familie, we hebben genoten en komen graag nog een keer terug.

Prachtige villa met dito zwembad op een schitterende locatie. Wel een auto nodig. Door de superaardige verhuurder en zijn vrouw overladen met overheerlijke citrusvruchten, groente en zelfs taart. Aanrader!!!

Wundervoller Urlaub in wundervoller Umgebung

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und sehr gepflegt. Durch die Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter haben wir uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Villa liegt schön ruhig und der Strand ist in 20-30 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Perfekt für Familien und jung bis alt. Wir wollten nicht weg und können es mit besten Gewissen weiter empfehlen. Wir waren zu 8 mit zwei Kleinkindern und zwei Jugendlichen und keiner hat sich gelangweilt.

Motorcycle tour Algarve

Property and gardens are kept in excellent condition. Great facilities and in a convenient location just a short drive from Silves. We also enjoyed the very peaceful location outside of town. Was perfect for our group with secure parking. The owner and family made us very welcome. Five stars

Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer sehr schönen, ruhigen Gegend, zum Supermarkt nur ca 6 km , sowie tank

Vermieter (Vater, Mama & Sohn) sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sehr sauberes Haus, alles vorhanden und alles funktionierte. Täglich frische Orangen und Mandarinen auf dem Gartentisch. Wir 8 Personen besuchen Motorrad Grand Prixs und suchen bzw nutzen Ferienhäuser seit Jahren, unser Ferienhaus in Silves ist 100% weiter zu empfehlen !! J. Fuzzy Hackl

A beautiful villa with very friendly hosts!

Our stay in Villa Rios was really great. Fernando, his wife and his son-in-law were all very friendly and forecoming. They checked in several times to see if we needed anything. The check-in and check-out were very easy and flexible, which helped a lot due to our late and belated flights. The house was very neat and the garden was beautiful. The pool and dining table were our favourite spots for most of the week! Thank you Fernando!

A fantastic place to be

It s a beautiful house where we were. We really liked it so much. Everything we needed was there and sometimes we didn’t want to go out because it was so nice to stay at home there. But what the best thing we liked was the hospitality from the owners. Always willing to help us. They even brought toys for the baby when the suitcase with baby things was missing at the airport. Again thanks for all you did for us

Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires.

Séjour au top en famille, très satisfaits des prestations de la maison et des extérieurs, très bien entretenus intérieur et extérieur. Gentillesse des propriétaires qui habitent juste à côté et qui nous ont fait profité de leur récolte. Bon emplacement à proximité de nombreuses visites à 30 min en voiture.

Fabulous stay at Villa Rios!

We spent a week at the lovely Villa Rios near Silves. The villa was spacious, private, secure, comfortable and very clean. There was every item we needed for a stay. The owners Fernando and Maria are lovely people. They live next door on their orange farm. They are discreet but available if you need anything or want advice. They are helped by Ricardo their Son-in-Law who was welcoming and easy to contact during the booking process and during our stay. It was exactly what we wanted, to experience the real Portugal and meet local people. They kept us supplied with fresh oranges and eggs off the farm and even treated us to Sangria and a fish BBQ!! The garden was beautiful and well kept, with different areas to sit and relax. We spotted jays and hoopoes in the garden.The pool was lovely to cool off in after a sunbathe or a day out. We saw some lovely sunsets. The villa is set inland away from the coast, close to Silves and we visited during the medieval festival which is held every year. It was a great experience with re-enactments, shows and you can even hire costumes and join the banquet! There was so much to do in the local area and at the coast we did not have enough time in one week to do it all and have a good rest too! So we will have to go back soon! Thank you for a lovely stay!!

Os proprietários foram de uma amabilidade inexcedível. Sempre dispostos a ajudar com qualquer assunto. A casa, o jardim e zona de piscina muito bem cuidados, espaços de convívio e refeições espaçosos e equipados. Todas as máquinas disponíveis. Não deixaram faltar nada. Zona muito sossegada, a menos de 30 minutos de praia muito bonitas e emblemáticas de Portugal. Camas muito confortaveis. Nada de negativo a apontar. Experiência a repetir! Muito obrigado Sra. D. Maria João e Sr. Fernando Rios!!
