Amazing!
The cottage is cute, the gardens are beautiful with multiple outdoor sitting areas and the owners are incredibly kind! The place is walkable to all of the downtown amenities and not far from Silver Falls State Park. You should definitely stay here!!!

What an adorable cottage! Everything was perfect when we arrived - beautiful decor, snacks, fruit and drinks provided, impeccably maintained property, extremely clean cottage, and friendly hosts. We were very pleased with our stay, and highly recommend a visit! The cottage is located directly next to the hosts' lovely Victorian home, with beautiful gardens, front and back patios, two fireplaces, and a small above ground pool. The home and cottage is close to the historic downtown Silverton area with many restaurants and lots of shopping. Thank you Kurt & Kathy for a relaxing vacation at your lovely cottage!

Cutest Cottage home ever!
We are so happy with our stay at this cottage. Location was perfect! The property and landscaping was so unique. Very clean and fresh. I loved that it was also very toddler friendly with baby proof locks for the cupboard. We were so happy to have the fresh fruit/food and all that came extra with the stay. Every small detail was very appreciated. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delightful!
A friend of mine and I stayed at the Garden Cottage for two nights in early October. The cottage itself is adorable, open, comfortable and full of light. It is tastefully decorated with attention to sweet details. The hosts provided a wide variety of breakfast food and snacks including fresh fruit, croissants, muffins, yogurt and waffles. There were chips, cookies, trail mix, M&Ms and even wine. The gardens are amazing, obviously tended with much love. It was such a peaceful place to be. I’d be happy to rent it again and just hang out in the gardens to read, watch hummingbirds and soak in the beauty of the flowers.

Gorgeous and peaceful property
Kurt and Kathryns home was amazing! The plants, flowers and hummingbirds were a delight to wake up to while sipping our morning tea outside in comfortable yard furniture. The cottage was extremely well equipped and shiny clean. Beds were comfortable. We saw 3 lovely cats, 2 let us pet them! Staying here was a complete joy and reprieve from our long days vending at Oktoberfest.

This was my second stay at the property, but this time I brought my husband. When I last stayed in February for a work trip, it was winter time, so the beautiful gardens were not in bloom. I was so looking forward to seeing what a summer stay would mean for the gardens, and they did not disappoint. Everywhere you looked there were roses and dahlias and honeysuckle vines and flowers of kinds, sizes and colors. The trees were filled with tweety birds and hummingbirds were zipping from flower to flower. The beautiful extra touches of art, water features, gazing balls and wind-spinners that take an ordinary property to a glorious slice of heaven like this we’re everywhere. That’s just a peek into the property surrounding the private cottage where you stay. Think of it as a beautifully-appointed spacious studio apartment complete with EVERYTHING you could ever want or need, from the kitchen, to the bathroom to the comfy bed, AC, ceiling fan, and even a sliding glass door exit onto a covered patio filled with MORE flowers, hanging baskets, fruit and vege raised beds and a gorgeous Victorian-style glass greenhouse. Throw in a few friendly kitty cats and the most gracious hosts you could hope for. Oh - did I mention the small, crystal clear, above ground pool? Bottom line? This place is heaven on earth

Wonderful getaway
Our 3rd time, first time in summer and it is such a wonderful garden cottage! The pool was great too and as usual the studio was well stocked, clean and relaxing (a real respite).

I absolutely LOVED this place and thought I'd already written a review. The interior was clean and beautifully appointed with all kinds of extras, from wine to snacks, even toiletries like deodorant if you forgot something. I am so looking forward to returning here in July when the pool will be open and the extensive AMAZING garden and grounds will be in full bloom. Couldn't offer a higher recommendation!

Amazing in every way. Gorgeous property, inside and out. The owners are so nice and have thought of everything! Our go to for our anniversary the last 2 years and plan to go every year that we can!!

Silverton Cottage is a great place to stay with beautiful gardens and a cute and comfortable private cottage. It had several wonderful outside sitting areas for us to enjoy and a very convenient location. The hosts, Kurt and Kathy, were terrific and provided everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable.

The best we've found
We love this place! This is our second stay and we continue to be impressed. The cottage is perfect and within walking distance to all the downtown shops and restaurants. The grounds are beautiful and the outside spaces are amazing. All the little touches that the owners have thought of are just icing on the cake. We litterally have not found a single thing we would change.

Once again, just wonderufl.
Once again our stay at Silverton Cottage was wonderful! The rental is in an amazing garden private garden, the studio is clean, relaxing and private (well stocked too). There are three private outside areas, and one is covered with comfortable chairs and a gas fire place (very nice rain or shine). the location to town is great (easy walk to shops and restaurants) and the proximity to Silver Falls state park is perfect for day hikes or mountain biking. Second time we've stayed and it didn't disappoint!

A superb cottage stay
The cottage has a wonderful, open layout, with lots of light and very well appointed. The amenities provided were exceptional including lots of fruit, pastries, snacks and a well stocked refrigerator. The landscaping and grounds were beautiful and provide several pleasant outdoor areas to relax in privacy. Communication with our host was great including spot on restaurant suggestions. We hope to return again.

This property is unique in every way. A stand-alone cottage next to a 100 year old mansion with a beautiful garden. The owners provide breakfast product and other snacks. Best part of the evening is enjoying a glass of wine on a private porch with all the flowers around you.

Cozy Cottage Stay
Our little family of four stayed in the guest cottage during a weekend in Silverton visiting family nearby. It was absolutely the perfect location for our stay - clean, cozy, and in a beautiful setting. Our boys especially enjoyed seeing the hummingbird visit the feeder on the patio and I liked the thoughtful breakfast items and snacks left out for us so I we didn't have to scramble out for breakfast in the morning. We will absolutely say again when we are in town!

Silvertons Best Place to Stay
If you are looking for a wonderful getaway within close proximity to Portland this is it. We are always impressed by the cleanliness and thoughtfulness of our hosts. They try to anticipate any need you may have. The amenities and setting is great. We love this cottage.

Silverton Cottage Delivers!
What a find! We needed a break from the confines of our home during Covid19 but also needed a place we could just stay at and have all the necessities to chill. Between the pool and gardens, this place had it all for me, my husband and our 7yr old. We didnt have to leave once and had a blast! Hugly recommend! We will be back!

A wonderful get away!
This was one of the best vacation rentals we have stayed in! Fully stocked with all you would need for your stay. Clean and very comfortable. Garden Oasis
This place exceeded all our expectations. Gardens are incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing at the fire table, roasting marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace, picking fresh berries and marveling at the beauty of the garden. Kurt and Kathy are amazing caretakers and provided more amenities than I could have imagined. This will easily become our go-to place to stay in Silverton!

A Little Garden of Eden
Kathryn and Kurt are wonderful, attentive, responsive hosts of this small cottage nestled in a little piece of heaven. First and foremost, the hosts go the extra mile to make your stay exceptional. We usually stay at the Oregon Garden Resort. No longer... it’s October, it’s chilly and typical fall weather. But we still sat out on the covered porch bundled under the blankets provided and sipped wine. Every need was met, and so many things we didn’t know we needed such as fresh fruit including pomegranate.

Perfect sparkling clean garden cottage.
We celebrated our anniversary in this darling, comfy cottage. We loved it and all the sweet places to sit in the beautiful gardens. All the goodies Kathy provided were a pleasant surprise and over the top. Only comment is there is a little traffic noise but all the positives more than make up for it. The cottage is perfectly located to walk to town. We highly recommend this cottage and hope to return as we love Silverton and all the fun things in the area!!!
