The location of the house was great! It was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing was that the house was advertised as having was a hot tub, which it did not have but was not a big deal. I mentioned this to the host, they were not aware this was on the listing and removed it. The 2 large cast iron bath tubs were amazing to soak in! Just be sure to bring bath salts or bath bombs with you. Strangely enough, none of the cute little stores downtown sold either one of these!. We definitely recommend renting the tower house! It was perfect for 3 couples.

Friendly and Fantastic

The place was well appointed, perfectly located and served as an optimal launching pad for our first trip to the Silverton ski area. Karen went above and beyond, helping us with a car issue by leveraging those small town connections (thanks again Anthony!). This place will certainly be my first choice for my next trip to get that Silverton pow!

Excellent Stay!

Thank you so much for the great time in Silverton! The place is really nice and an A location. It had everything we wanted. I would definitely recommend this to small groups staying in Silverton.

Silverton CO

Retro western style town at altitude, quaint property. Little local activity over Christmas/NY. Very comfortable property, snow. 3 levels, stairs, wooden floors and floors are heated. Well stocked kitchen. We loved it and recommend it highly as an unforgettable CO experience.

Trapped in a winter wonderland on Christmas!

Our stay in Silverton was nothing short of a winter wonderland adventure. I personally enjoyed just being snowed in and doing nothing. Playing scrabble and enjoying family time was what we all wanted and that’s exactly what we got! The residence was spectacular and very homey! Heated floors were a very nice touch. Kitchen was excellent for every meal we made. We even had someone named Danni show up and help shovel snow! Being from Texas I offered some bacon and grabbed my snow shovel and helped out! The entire area is just a slice of heaven and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Silverton. By far my favorite Vrbo I’ve stayed in yet. Thanks again for your hospitality and prompt communication Karen! Happy New Years and God Bless!

Wonderful, relaxing location!

The Tower House was an incredible base for our Silverton stay. The location right on the main street and right next to historic Blair Street was fantastic. We had easy access to food and shops. It's a great place to watch the people strolling by. The house is beautifully decorated and maintained immaculately. We would encourage anybody coming to Silverton to stay here.

What a jewel! The Towerhouse was astounding!

The entire house was way bigger than we thought it would be. Bonus! Very comfortable, immaculate, we felt like we lived there - it was that wonderful. We really wanted to research the history of the house but could not find much info on it . We tried imagining all the stories under that roof. Convenient to dining, grocery, and close to all the sights in the San Juans, this was the ultimate base location that I could imagine. Did not want to leave and time passed by quickly, even though we spent 9 days there. Aspens were in peak, which is a must-see in late September. Ouray is right down the road - just look straight ahead as you're driving there haha. Telluride is good day trip or you can get there over Ophir Pass or Imogene Pass on a dual sport bike and be back in time for lunch at the Bent Elbow. The San Juan Historical Museum is mandatory! Do that on a rainy day (if there is one) and take your time. The artifacts and mining history is the largest collection I have even seen. Simply riveting. Do this if you can, you will not regret it. Silverton rocks and has that laid back feel where everyone is welcome it seems.

Great house but lots of stairs

great house, very well done lots of room and great location. The house is right in town and you can wall to all restaurants and stores. The only draw back was the stairs, one flight for two of the bedroom and bath and two flights for the other bedroom and bath. There is a bathroom of the bottom floor. Would I stay there again, yes.

We were so excited once we showed up at home. Not only is it one of the nicest, most updated properties it is full of extras! Totally Modern!

The house was great. We didn't have or need any communications with the owner/agent. Access was easy once we figured out its at the back of the house, not the front. The floors are heated so that was a surprise! I stayed on the top floor and my knees let me know. If I had a complaint it was the many stairs, but that's on me and not the fault of the residence. The entertainment system worked great once I found the problem and corrected it. The kitchen being on the first floor was perfect! Lots of room and well stocked. The location was sgreat too! We really enjoyed our stay here!

Great Place to Stay While in Silverton!

Our family had a great time during our trip to Silverton. This house is beautifully kept and has everything you'd need for a good time on vacation. We would definitely go back again.

Feels like home

We have stayed in Silverton a few times now and this home was lovely. From the outside, it is quintessentially Silverton but the inside is modern with amenities you enjoy at your own home. Location is fab! Be sure to eat at Avalanche Brewing Co. two buildings away. Highly recommend staying here!
