The descriptions and photos of the property are accurate, and we had a satisfactory stay. We came to the Colorado mountains in the summer for a respite from the desert heat at our home. I will point out a few things--some obvious, some not so obvious--that travelers might want to consider.
1. The living space is pretty small. This falls in the "obvious" category, but consider that total square feet is less than 900, and a fair amount is taken up in two bedrooms and two decent sized bathrooms. So the kitchen is tiny and the living room also compact.
2. The place is professionally managed, clean, and everything worked. Be aware, other than salt and pepper there are no condiments in the kitchen.
3. Travelers might want to consider bringing seat cushions. Really. The bar chairs, the dining table chairs and the deck chairs are all hard surface. The deck chairs are sorta cheap metal models and are not terribly comfortable. One came apart during our stay.
4. The primary negative for us was the number of steps to access the property. Not for the humans, but for my older canine family member. The unit is on the ground floor. With the property being built on the side of a mountain, there are sixteen steps down to get to the unit. My only minor complaint is that I had specifically inquired about the number of steps (the pictures I saw implied steps, but much fewer in number) and either misunderstood the response or did not receive a accurate information.
5. We were surprised at how quiet the complex was during our summer stay. Parking lot pretty empty, no noisy neighbors, etc. This being Colorado, the smell of pot permeated the air occasionally.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this unit--as long as you don't mind steps getting in and out.
