A slice of heaven! Absolutely beautiful, quiet, extremely comfortable cabin in the Gila Forest. Breathtaking sunsets. Perfect for us to escape the Sonoran Desert heat with our two puppers. Looking forward to returning ASAP!

So peaceful!

A wonderfully quiet cabin in the mountains, immaculately clean and furnished with every amenity you can reasonably imagine. Comfortable bed, pleasant outdoor spaces--we didn't enjoy looking at the corral so much, though the cottonwoods are pretty, but the other side of the house entirely faces the forest. Lots of feeders that attracted birds, squirrels, and chipmunks. Communication from the host was exceptionally clear, accurate, and quick. I was worried when I read that there were dogs on the property--we live in a semi-rural area where dogs mean nonstop barking--but we didn't hear a peep from these pups. Cooking was easy--the kitchen is very well supplied--we enjoyed the propane grill. Staying here to shorten the drive to the cliff dwellings and hot springs was an excellent plan--the roads to those sites are in great condition but are very winding, in the way of mountain roads, so a little rest in the middle was great. I would absolutely love to stay here again.

Peaceful, Surrounded by Nature. Cabin was spotless and had everything you needed. The location is VERY remote, which we loved, but they aren't kidding. Bring groceries. There isn't cell service for maybe 20 miles. We'd definitely recommend

Amazing little cabin overlooking small horse ranch. Near Lake Roberts, Pinos Altos and Gila Cliff Dwellings. Loved our nice quiet stay and watching nature and hummingbirds. The host was awesome in her communications and offered help if needed. Directions to get us there were perfect. Everything was wonderful in cozy, modern and clean cabin. Will go back again.

Such a beautiful and tranquil location! The accommodations are spot on and well thought out. Even though it’s end of the season we had a sweet family of hummingbirds that were active all day. The wildflowers were crazy! Hiking and exploring this beautiful area was just what we needed.

The BEST place to Relax!

WE had a ringside seat to hummers and so many birds that we didn't want to leave the front porch! The view of the horses and watching them every day was all we needed. This was the perfect retreat and a jump off place for other Gila Wilderness activities that you might enjoy. Can't say enough nice things about Lauren and Tim's great spread! We plan to come back when we need that great dose of peace.

Spotless

Having been a VRBO owner ourselves, we so appreciated the cleanliness. King bed and pillows were very comfortable. Kitchen could have used more utensils, like a spatula, tongs, BBQ tools, etc. Overall, the tranquility of this beautiful property, and cleanliness was perfect. We hiked the Purgatory trail down the road from the cabin, had a picnic, at Lake Robert, & played games. We’ll be back!!

Beautiful Forest Cabin

What a wonderful vacation in the Gila Forest! Cabin was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Patios were just perfect for relaxing and watching the wildlife. The ranch is in a great location for exploring the area and has wonderful forest access right out the back door. This is a great place to get away from city and enjoy some quiet time in the forest. Lauren and Tim were excellent hosts and we look forward to returning again!
