"The property was private and relaxing. It was also close to Frankin and Highlands, so day trips were easy. Even though we only spent a few days at the ranch, we left very relaxed. We will definitely be back."

"Check-in was easy and the house was very clean. If you like a location in a peaceful setting in the woods listening to a babbling brook, this is the perfect house for your stay. It is a short drive to the NOC but worth the serenity. Lots of porch area for family hangout, and places to hang boat gear for drying."

"Excellent experience overall! The home was outstanding with a spectacular view of the lake and mountains. Multiple outdoor seating areas allowed us to take advantage of the beautiful weather each afternoon and evening. Very quiet and peaceful. The host communication was excellent with quick responses and offers to assist with anything during our stay. This was one of the best experiences in our years of hiking trips to western NC. "We loved our time at this cabin! The back porch is perfect and we really enjoyed spending time outside in the peaceful space eating, playing games, and reading. The house was very clean and the owners were very responsive and communicated well, checkin and checkout were well explained. We would recommend and would visit again. "

"We are a family of 3 senior adults who stayed one night for a fishing trip, and we loved everything about this home. The covered porch with a ramp at the end of the dwelling made unloading our things in the rain much less stressful and made entry easy for the eldest of our group (rather than having to negotiate a lot of steps).
