The Bungalows is located by the sea. The guests can listen to the waves all night and enjoy the long beach under the sun in the morning. The single room is small but clean. It is great leisure to hang out at the restaurant during the monsoon.

Relaxing

So this place is great. If you are expecting luxury look elsewhere. Simple beach bungalows with a clean bed and a bathroom. The Bungalows are nothing special, not even hot water, but you are on the beach. There is good Wi-Fi in the Bungalows and the common area. The staff are amazingly friendly and can help you out with whatever you need. If you want a nice relaxing place to stay with a No-Frills bed and room book here.

Its next to the beach. The beach is very clean. Only minus: in the restaurant, quite nice menu, but not a lot avaiable.

Avoid Sihanoukville and go to Koh Rong/Sanloem

This ‘hotel’ is the definition of bare bones. You have a bed, a shelf, a toilet and a shower head. That’s about it. It was also dirty - I’m still not sure what was on my bathroom floor. There are large gaps in the wood flooring and stapled plastic panneling in the bathroom - enough room for fascinating critters to come in and visit. My gecko roommate was harmless, but he did startle me a couple of times. Also, you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. The beach directly in front is nice, but don’t dare walk out your bungalow and to the right. The beaches are disgusting and covered in filth. Even worse is the street connecting the hotels/restaurants (which are few and far between). Garbage litters the streets, sometimes piled three feet high in bags. I left after one night to head to Independence Beach Hotel. My recommendation for anyone traveling to Sinanhoukville - DON’T. Go to the islands - Koh Rong and Koh Rong Sanloem. There is so much construction going on from forgein counties that don’t seem to care about the Cambodian people, their culture or wellbeing. It was heartbreaking.

Beach Bungalow

I felt the security of the place was not to part, you can easily kick the door in. The best part about this bungalow is staying right on the beach, falling asleep with the waves crashing sound is awesome, and waking up to a beautiful view is even better.

Fab location and price

This is a great little cottage on the best beach in sihanoukville. Bang on the beach. The price of the room for us was $20 and that worked for us. Initially it felt small and since there's no AC we worried about the heat. But it was totally fine!! There's always a nice breeze from the beach and the window. There are dorms and shared rooms on the strip that are cheaper but the little extra is worth it for someone like me. The food was FABULOUS! We got vegetarian food that was finally good otherwise it's very hard in Cambodia. It was also affordable. The drinks are cheap too. Their regular price is the same as people's happy hours. So clearly this is a great deal! The small staff will do their best to help you and go the extra mile. Go for it.

Perfect spot to get away from it all

Annanas Beach Bungalow is a wonderful, charming place in as idyllic a location as I believe exists on Otres 2 beach. The bungalows are very simple and offer only a fan and a cold water shower but the location and the food cannot be beat, nor can the hospitality and warmth of the owner, Anna, who works very hard to keep her guests well fed and happy. The bungalows have private baths, good wifi and electricity, well functioning toilets, and good mosquito netting to keep off the bugs at night and are just feet from the ocean at the far end of Otres 2, furthest from development and crowds. The food is very well prepared and fresh. When we were there she made us a BBQ of fresh whole snapper one night and steamed 3 kilos of shrimp another night for us. All served with fresh green salad and rice and steamed potatoes and any other sides off the menu that we wanted to order. They make very fresh cocktails with fruit and a blender. Its just a lovely place with clear, clean, warm water. Anna will help you book whatever activities you want from her place. We rented a boat for the day and went snorkeling and cliff diving. Really amazing experience.
