Superb stay!

The room was just as described. Very comfortable, you can feel at home here. My wife and I, along with my 82 y/o mother, and two of our grandsons, 9 & 12 had a great stay. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Beach access is across the street, then just a short walk to the beach. We brought along groceries to cook while there. There was a grill outside, hammocks, and nice outdoor setup. I hope to go back for another visit.

Wedding stay

We had a wonderful time with our kids at your property. The area was so nice to entertain the other family members that came as well. It made it an easy choice whose place to hang out at! :) It was so close to beach also! Would stay again! Thank you!

Perfect for us!!

This is the second time we stayed at the Poor Boy. We love it. We met friends in Siesta Key and we all met at the Poor Boy. The outside area is so welcoming with the outside grill and Tiki bar. There is plenty of areas to be outside after a long day at the beach. We walked down and had coffee every morning at the beach.The Poor Boy has everything you need! We will be back!!

Super Cool Location But a Little Lacking.

90 second walk to the ocean. 5 minute walk to restaurants and bars. The place was a bit dingy and, if you’re on the first floor, you’ll definitely hear the people above you. Great common area with a grill and a couple tables.

Great location

Dan was incredible to work with and was great at communicating in a timely manner! Everything you could possibly need for your stay is available to use both in your lodging area and the community areas as well. The location was perfect! Steps away from the silky smooth sandy path to the beach and a short walk to restaurants, shops, etc. The outdoor community garden area was beautiful and perfect for relaxing or eating a meal! All five of us enjoyed our stay, there was plenty of room for us to sleep and hangout! Would definitely recommend any of the lodging options, Dan made the check in seamless. You won’t regret staying here!

Relaxing Stay

The place is just as advertised. It is an older unit but well kept, giving it an old Florida feeling that you loose with new places. I would recommend putting a copy of the old man and the sea on the coffee table. The location could not have been better. It is just across the street from public access 13 to the beach. The unit is well equipped for a comfortable stay. Having the laundry outside the door was actually a positive and not a hinderance. The common areas expanded the useable space with a great cooking grill. The patio gave the place a nice outdoor seating area as well.

This place was amazing we stayed in the poor boy and I loved it.

It was a perfect getaway we are from Michigan and the key was amazing. I loved the location and the beach felt like it was just ours. I would recommend this place to any looking for a private getaway.

Family Vacation

We had the best time! The location is amazing, right across from beach access. The outdoor amenities are awesome. We enjoyed using the grill and the kids loved reading in the hammocks. We will definitely be back in the future!!

Everything you need and so much more!

We are a family of 5 and have been vacationing in Siesta Key for a few years now and this is one of our faves. The unit is perfect to eat, sleep and shower. The outdoor accommodations are like no other unit, we enjoyed the tiki bar , huge gas grill and all of the beach accessories. We greatly appreciated all of the beach accessories that were in great condition, chairs , umbrellas coolers, boogie boards, very accommodating. Selfishly want to keep this unit a secret but honestly too good not to share !

Great place to stay!

This place was clean, close to the beach, and had many beach items available to use. The outside area was great to hang out and enjoy the weather. I would definitely recommend this place and will be going back the next time we are in the area!

Better than advertised!

Our group enjoyed every moment of our stay. The location is supreme; the parking is assigned and easy for two SUVs. The exterior common areas are inviting and well thought out and BBQ grills are large enough to feed an army. Oh and the ample beach chairs and toys were greatly appreciated! The interior is bright, clean and had room of the 7 of us comfortably. The kitchen is over-stocked so cooks will feel right at home. The property is not advertised as a luxury stay. And while it's not that, it is perfectly suited to those wishing to enjoy the beach and the surrounding dining and night life. Book with confidence and enjoy

Siesta Key Bungalow

Such a cute bungalow just a few yards from the beach. Cozy, well equipped, location, location, location!!! While charmingly dated, only change would be an update of bathroom floor but overall, clean and comfy!

Girls trip 2022

Location was amazing! We were very pleasantly surprised with the wine and water. Only complains are the bunk beds were very hard and the noise from upstairs, but 100% would stay again regardless.

BEACHES!!!!!

What a beautiful place to vacation. The property was everything and more than expected. So close to the beach and town. Would fully recommend this property to anyone, nothing to fancy buy just what we needed for four 18 year olds and a grandma. Went to several beaches and really enjoyed the dog beach in Vinice.
