  • Esta unidad recientemente renovada de Gulf View cuenta con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable recién instalados en la cocina con encimeras de granito y gabinetes nuevos, baldosas nuevas en todas las áreas comunes y alfombras recién instaladas en las dos habitaciones. El dormitorio de invitados tiene una cama doble y dos camas individuales, y el maestro tiene un rey que le permite a esta unidad dormir hasta 5. Tanto el baño principal como el de invitados también se han renovado recientemente. Disfrute de un televisor de pantalla plana en la sala de estar y en las dos habitaciones, y de un reproductor de VCR, DVD y CD en la sala de estar. La vista de la playa y el golfo desde el balcón es hermosa.

May 2017 Stay

The unit was absolutely gorgeous. We had two weeks of heaven and can't wait to come back again. The only suggestion I would like to add would be chair/umbrella set up service. HOS could charge a daily or weekly fee that could be optional for guests to use or bring/buy their own.

The location can't be beat, all the neighbors are so friendly, and the staff is wonderful. We can't wait to come back again, 5 stars!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was clean and the location excellent. A few minor problems. The washer had mold. The patio window did not lock. The secondary bedroom window did not open. The patio furniture was too big and in disrepair. The chairs were torn where u could not even sit in two of them. The table was so big only one person could be on the patio at a time in the morning. For the money we paid I would have expected more. People working there were perfect.

Spring Break at House of the Sun

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This past week we stayed at House of the Sun. We first went to HOS in 1984 with three young children, and now I am taking my grandchildren. We love the location, amenities and the office staff is professional and easy to work with. The property is a bit aged (the elevators) but well maintained and what we expect. Nice updated key fobs, good grills, great job managing the beach chairs, and of course the tennis/pickle ball court is a plus!!!

Since coming to House of the Sun most years since 1985 we appreciate the quality of the property and the people working there. We love returning to our “home away from home!”

Spring break 2022

It was a nice week in Siesta Key. The only thing I would have liked to know ahead of time is all the items I would need to buy in terms kitchen items, paper products, etc. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.

Vacation starts the second you enter your unit

The new appliances are a treat to renters, and the second bedroom having a double bed as well as a twin is a bonus. The decorating in the unit is well done, as well as the little extras (games, toys, etc) that are there. This unit is one of our favorites!!

June 2016 Stay

Had a great time, even with the tropical storm blowing though. Our unit was huge, clean, and comfortable. We particularly loved the lounge chairs provided at the beach, was not expecting that based on past experiences. Everything was just wonderful, and will be staying here again!

First vacation to Siesta Key. Great location. Beautiful beach. Grounds well maintained. Friendly guests and staff. Enjoyed the nightly sunset from the 5th floor deck. Sad the week is over!

August 2017 Stay

We had a pretty good week. The weather wasn't the greatest, but we were able to relax! That was super important!!! We absolutely LOVED the new furniture! It was super comfortable and the color is amazing!!! As always, everything was clean and ready to go when we got there. We do feel it's a bit warmer in the master bedroom and we even bring our own fan! LOL We enjoy coming to Siesta Key/ House of the Sun and will continue to visit annually! We're trying to talk the rest of the family into coming down with us next year! Thank you for all you to do make our experience enjoyable! I also agree about the umbrella service. I love that we don't have to bring our own chairs, but umbrellas would be awesome!
