Overall, we had a fantastic time at Crystal Sands. The home has all the amenities a family with children could ask for. Couple that with a perfect location with beach access as well as a host who was extremely responsive to any issues we had, and you get the makings of a great vacation.

Family vacay

A wonderful trip. The house was amazing and holds many memories for us. The location was absolutely perfect There was a pack n play and high chair for the baby. We bought one and didn’t need to. We had troubles with the elevator but wasn’t an issue, a sun shade on the rooftop would be nice bc too hot to hang out in sun. Happy to have a happy hour pool.

The house is in a great location and is a beautiful home. It was clean. The property management company was very helpful and responsive. The pool was smaller than expected, but still very nice. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

Great house and location

Overall everything was great. My only complaint was that the elevator never worked. We found this property specifically needing an elevator for my elderly in-law.

The Cottages

Such a great place! My family and I had such a good time. The place was awesome! Clean, new, roomy, everything was awesome. PM were great. Easy to get a hold of if needed. Would definitely stay at one of their properties again for sure!

Perfect

We had a great time staying here for 2 weeks. Location is perfect for walking to the beach. They furnished everything needed for the beach. Umbrellas, wagon, cooler, chairs. The surprise cupcakes in the refrigerator were a major plus! The only recommendation is more usable things stocked in the kitchen. Paper towels, foil, condiments. The pool was a nice break for later in the day. As they do tell you this is a shared unit. You hear neighbors and share the rooftop but we never had an issue. Everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend this property.

Best VRBO experience ever!

Fantastic location short walk to beach and village. Salt water pool perfect for my son with a chlorine allergy. Gorgeous beachfront views and sunsets from rooftop. Seamless check-in process, A+ customer service, responsive and even helped me jump my rental car! Stocked well with everything you need for a week at the beach including beach chairs, wagon, bikes and grill. Outdoor seating with TV was ideal for watching sports events with the kids. Bunk room perfect for kids of all ages and elevator so convenient for luggage, groceries and anyone with disabilities. Wish it were a little less expensive but we rented during peak spring break season.

Disappointing

Unfortunately our pool was not heated for multiple days. We rented this house because of the location and the heated pool (since a cold front came through). Not be able to use the pool except for one day was disappointing.

Fabulous place!

What a great getaway on Siesta Key! This place was easy to get to the beach or village, and just relax by the pool or in the beautiful living area. Great communication from the CottageCrew with the rental agreement, fixing odds and ends, and unfortunately (but also fortunately!!), for helping us prep and evacuate before Hurricane Ian. Definitely recommend!

Exceeding expectations

Beautiful home, super clean and nicely decorated! Location is superb- only few minutes walking distance to the beach and short drive to restaurants. The welcoming basket with fresh fruits and snacks was very nice too. Wish the access to the rooftop was easier but we still enjoyed it! Would love to come back!

Beachside stay

Easy process of renting. You will be sent agreement paperwork from the company to complete prior to your stay. This is my first time staying at a VRBO. The office stays in contact with you. The place was clean but the outdoor barbecue was aged and rust marks visible. Utensils and kitchen was well maintained inside. Beach towels are provided. Indoors was well done. The beach chairs kept in the garage are also worn and rusted likely due to wear and humidity. It would probably be better for the company to routinely replace the outdoor chairs and umbrella and the barbecue regularly as these probably see a lot of usage. Of note: You share the outdoor third floor with the other property. Overall pleasant place to stay very close to the beach. Bikes also provided but no children bikes. Some old beach toys are also in the area where the beach chairs are kept. Overall happy with the stay but could be better with replacement of items that will typically wear out due to the Florida humidity outdoors.

Excellent Experience!!

We loved our stay !! Excellent location right next to the beach. Just 3 min walk to the beach! Beautiful property! Very well staged-we loved the decor. Very comfortable and relaxing-awesome back pool area!! Short drive or trolley to shops/restaurants. Management did an excellent job of making us feel welcome! We would love to stay again!

Siesta Key family retreat

This property was very spacious and comfortable for our family vacation! The decor was beautiful and had just about everything we needed for our group. The walk to the beach was only about 3 minutes. It was awesome having the beach chairs, umbrella and wagon to use at the beach . The kids loved the pool and bunk room too. The grill area and grounds were amazing too. We could have used more seating like another couch in the living area and a Larger dining table to accommodate a party of 12. I would stay here again.
