Enjoy beautiful views of the intercostal from the pier or walk to Siesta Key public beach approx. 1 mile north or Beach Access 1/2 mile south. Relaxing and comfortable like home

My mom and I had a good time we enjoyed the bay, pool and the beach. This property is an ideal place to stay it's close to a Publix and trolley is close to take to the beach and village.

Siesta Key Condo

We spent a week at this property in February 2023. The condo was just as advertised. Everything was very neat and clean and as advertised. The location was OK - would’ve been nicer had it been closer to the beach. The pool was nice and the property was very quiet.

Spring break in Siesta Key

Overall great property but without beach access challenging and the pool is small. Unit very nice. They also need gas grills not charcoal. Shower head needs cleaning.

Not Good

The condo was nice, but the maintenance of the condo was not, Lights needed replaced, no towel holders in the master bathroom, no closets in the spare bedroom. No stoppers in kitchen sink, so sink could hold water. No linens in the condo when we got there, but did get towels or linens the next day. Found two dirty wash cloths on top of the shower curtain in master bath. Lid on the coffee pot was broken. Toilet paper holder was improperly installed in the spare bathroom and couldn't hold toilet paper roll. Electric plug on the patio is a shock hazard and needs repair.

Great, affordable place to stay right on the Key

The rental process was very straightforward, and we loved the location. I will state some of the pros & cons from our stay in early March 2022. Pros: Lighting was good, and the fan in the second bedroom was nice. We had clean towels, clean sheets, and most surfaces were well taken-care of. The showers worked great, there was lots of seating, plenty of dishes and serving trays if we needed them. The check-in process was just arriving and unlocking the key from the lockbox on the door - very easy! As was checkout. This property seems mostly well-maintained, and we had pleasant (but delayed, as I messaged on a weekend) correspondence with the property owner. This was a very affordable option, considering Siesta Key rental prices, and is in walking distance of the beach and restaurants like Captain Curts. Having one provided parking spot was very convenient too. Cons: I will try to just name the big things. The front door sticks so horribly that we had difficulty getting in and out and locking the door properly. The condo door is located right next to the elevator, and people's voices traveled seamlessly through the door when waiting to use or exiting the elevator. We had an infrequent, but loud, unidentifiable beeping sound coming from the living room throughout our stay. The twin-size mattresses in the second bedroom were fairly uncomfortable, at least for adults. The master bedroom inner door handle kept dislodging and falling to the floor when pulled on to open the door. Overall, we would be happy to stay here again, especially if the property owner would be willing to fix up these features.

The location of Bay Oaks was good. Clean unit and lovely grounds. Interior a bit outdated and tired looking but great potential. It was just fine for a week vacation. Thank you

Highly disappointed in this unit: NO WIFI,few utensils, old bedding and towels, sliding door sticks, disposal was leaking and huge bowl under sink with gunk? no cleaning person saws this? washer shakes violently and loudly and can hear outside also rusted, master bedroom sink drips, furniture old and warm badly, shades were broken and had to be replaced, smoke detectors had to be replaced, all beach chairs broken and had to be replaced. Working with rent siesta key and the management was useless when it came to getting wifi and we were working from there. On our own we finally got to owner and during the last week we wifi and he would only give us 100 dollars which was terrible. NEVER RENT THIS UNIT NOR WOULD I USE RENT SIESTA KEY.

Nice place and good location. However if you need internet access look elsewhere.

Internet access was awful. Maximum connect time was less than 3 minutes before getting kicked off and very slow.

Nice and quiet.

The unit was very clean and very cute. Check in was effortless With a key box on the door. There are tons of towels which came in handy going back and forth from the beach and pool...and the pool was never crowded. I loved having a washer and dryer in the room and I loved the covered parking and the beautiful grounds. My only criticism is that all the blinds need to be replaced because they’re very old and didn’t provide complete privacy..:we remedied this by hanging sheets over the blinds in the bedrooms..the other issue was that the lock didn’t work on the master bedroom. All-in-all we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

It seems like the place, towels could have been cleaner. All in all everything was as advertised. Nothing was said as to the need of a parking permit. Only found out after receiving a warning citation.

Good for price I guess

For the price it’s worth it. However there were maintenance issues. Unclear instructions about what the key fob was to access pool. Single house key instead of key or card fobs to get into residence made it difficult for multiple people staying. Had cable issues with unclear solutions to fix the issue.

WIFI did not work, controls for the TVs where missing and the way the cable TV was strange. Only local channels on the bedroom. Comforter had a wet stain when we arrived. Unable to use it. Property is good, good pool and close to the Beach Access. Towels were a good touch; however, not enough blankets. We wish they could have told us. Somewhat difficult to find. Apartment was next dumpster and they left the door open, so smell was not good coming in.

We did have internet access problems that the office could not solve so we used our computers in the activity center nearby. Only one roll of toilet paper and no tissue but we were told that ahead of time. Bed was very comfortable. The main bathroom was extremely tight.

Worst rental experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I found water in the master bath upon my arrival, cleaned it up, but it kept happening. Mgmnt didn’t know where it was coming from and the rental agency said it wasn’t a problem that fell within their responsibility. One from the mgmnt said “lose my number, don’t call me again.” On the 8th day, the water spread from the master bath to master bedroom, down the halo, into the 2nd bedroom, by the front door, and into the kitchen. I was left on my own until a plumber came from a unit on another floor and told me I had to evacuate was 10 PM on Sunday. No help was offered to me. The next day the unit owner was finally identified to me and contacted me; he found a vacancy on Longboat Key, but the Rental agency took no responsibility and neither did the building mgmnt. And the refused to reimburse me for the 3 days of flooding during my first week because of a legal clause saying they don’t have to. The owner and building mgmnt were also unwilling. Throughout this worsening situation, the rental agency did nothing. And just to add a little more pain, the wi-fi didn’t work. Never again.

It was very easy to access our rental and had all of the instructions and regulations right on the app. We were centrally located and our unit was very nice. My only complaint is that the master bedroom tub floor is very bumpy and almost soft feeling. After reading other reviews it appears it has been a problem for a while now.
