Tuscan Holiday

We had a lovely stay at the apartment and would go back. Beautiful, tranquil spot and drives to suggested restaurants were not bad. Unfortunately, our friends with whom we were traveling had to return early to FL related to hurricane damage at their home. We’ll have to clme back! We greatly enjoyed the wine tasting and walks on the property. Lavinia and Lorenzo were responsive and gracious. I would suggest updating the internet access and some of the bathrooms but overall, it was a great experience.

A Magnificent Villa

From the first day we arrived and were greeted by our host Lavinia, the Villa exceeded expectations. Lavinia could not have been more welcoming and available for any issues we might have had. The Villa was beautiful, the rooms spacious, and the bathrooms accommodating. The grounds offered a spectacular view of the surrounding estate and countryside. The pool was cleaned daily and was a nice added feature to the property. We had to wait a day for our car rental and the shopping feature for when we arrived was very convenient. I would take full advantage of the local restaurants which Lavinia has in the handbook, which were terrific, especially Le Pietre Vive and Certosa di Pontignano, you will not be disappointed with the experience or food. The location of the Villa was convenient to the Tuscan towns we went to visit, google maps worked great with getting us to and from our destinations. The chef in the handbook delivered breakfast to us one morning which we were very happy with. He was very accommodating and easy to work with. If we get back to Tuscany we will make Tenuta Larnianone a definite stay request. They enabled us to have a magnificent experience.

Birthday celebration with family

We had wanted to stay at a working vineyard and olive oil farm and CaNova met our plans perfectly. The house was great with plenty of space for eight adults. The vineyard tour and wine tasting was a highlight of our stay. Our interaction with our hosts was excellent. The stay met and exceeded our expectations. We definitely would stay there again!

Loved the Villa!

We loved our time at this Villa. The location was superb. This was a beautiful location and our host Lavinia was very helpful. The Villa was very large. We had a family of 5 and could have had 3 families of 5. The spaciousness was very nice. We wish we could have stayed longer and immersed ourselves a little more in wine tastings and tours. The pool was very nice to cool off and was sparkling and very clean. Without hesitation, we would come back. Thank you Lavinia!

The relaxing part of my vacation

I traveled with friends who had never traveled before. They were looking forward to seeing the sites of Tuscany, but i explained part of the experience of Tuscany was relaxing and slowing down. We were able to do that here. Quiet. Attentive. And frills. I wish we had more time at the house. Lavinia was always available and even offered to mail one single, lost, apple earbud back to the states for us. The best part, be side they loved on premise, we didn't feel like we were destroying the community by renting an entire home and displacing the locals like many short term rentals do here in New Orleans. I recommend this place!

Tuscan Country Charm

If you are looking for a country charm vineyard experience, this is the one for you. The location is a short drive from Siena but you feel like you're out in the middle of the beautiful hills of Tuscany. Lavinia was a great host and provided everything we needed.

Under the Tuscan Sun

Everything was perfect! Property is amazing as is the wine and olive oils. Chef Robin made an incredible meal with some of the best past I have ever had. Lavinia was an incredible host and Lorenzo is a wine artist! You MUST do the wine tasting! Superb! I was a bit worried about the no A/c in July, but they house is built in such in such a way it stays cool! We used some fans and it was not an issue at all! Go there or you will truly miss out!!!!

Gorgeous villa overlooking Siena countryside

We were welcomed by the adorable Lavinia who was our amazing host! The property where this villa is located is gorgeous- the views from our villa are outstanding! The villa itself is clean and spacious and decorated in the true Tuscan style. The villa is one of 8 that are part of the family winery. We were given a tour and a formal wine tasting by our other host- Lorenzo. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the wine and this family business. This winery also produces delicious olive oil! We would definitely come back to this villa!

For the Love of Tuscany

We were 3 couples staying at Canova Sud. The Villa has 4 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. A fully equipped kitchen along with laundry facilities, a beautiful yard with an incredible view and a pool a few steps away...what more could you want? Our check in was easy. We met Lavinia at the specified time and she showed us the Villa and gave us the information we needed for the week. She was only a text away if we had any questions. The surrounding area on the Estate is olive trees, vineyards and rolling hills. Stunning!

Amazing property and exactly the Tuscan setting we had hoped for!

Our stay was amazing - the pool was lovely and we met (and enjoyed) some of the other guests. The villa we stayed in was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. Although it was during a heatwave - the construction of the building and some tips about closing shutters kept the house very comfortable! We had a nice tour of the winery and enjoyed walking around the property, as well as making day trips to Pisa and the beach. Siena was breathtaking - such a cool small city/town. We can’t say enough good things about our experience! Thank you for having us!

Our Favorite Place

We stayed in 4 different places in Italy and this was our favorite. There were 4 couples with most of us in our 60's and Ca Nova accommodated us very well. We were greeted promptly upon arrival and given a tour of the house. There were 4 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Two had tubs and two had showers. Two were on the main floor and two were upstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed including a table we sat around each evening as we rehashed the day. There was also a dining room table, but we didn't use it. Our favorite part was to sit outside in the evening and enjoy the gorgeous view of the Tuscan countryside or go for a walk around the property or down the road. After the hustle and bustle of the cities we had stayed in, it was so nice to have peace and quiet and enjoy the ambiance of Tuscany. We had rented a van so we were able to see some of the country side, Sienna, and some hill towns on our own. We also booked two ToursbyRoberto who picked us up at the house and took us on wine tours so we could enjoy the wine without worrying about driving. Be sure you allow 1 or 2 hours for one of the hosts to give you a tour of the winery and vineyards in which Ca' Nova is located. It is one of the most pleasant, informative, and beautiful tours you can take. We hated leaving this place and would love to go back.

Stunningly Beautiful!

If you have a picture of a Tuscan villa in your mind, this is it, with the word spectacular in front of it. My family and I spent five days here and we all want to move to this beautiful place. The view and grounds are breathtaking and so very peaceful. You are in the midst of a vineyard with beautiful Tuscan pines and olive trees. The inside of the villa is perfectly appointed, is in fabulous condition and has everything you need for a lovely and relaxing vacation. The owners were incredibly hospitable and gave us full privacy. You will want to be friends with this lovely family. The pool was immaculate. The bathrooms are very fresh and charming and there is plenty of space. The kitchen is large and well appointed. It is 15 minutes from Sienna and an hour from Florence. We had lovely trips to both towns and then could come back and relax in the peace and quiet of this fabulous place. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. You could spend a month here. Best ever! So very unique and beautiful! We are absolutely planning to come back here.

Perched on a hill overlooking the Tuscan countryside

Amazing home in the Italian countryside near Siena. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive and we had a great time. It is isolated and quiet about 15-20 minutes from town. You absolutely need a car. The pool is perfect for a hot summer day and there are plenty of places to enjoy meals outside and inside. Grazie mille!

Beautiful villa with fantastic views

Our stay at Ca' Nova was absolutely wonderful. The spacious villa accommodated our group of six very comfortably. We had an extra bedroom and bathroom to spare as well. The views of the Tuscan countryside just outside of the city of Siena were beyond belief. It's a great location from which we took day trips to Montepulciano, Montalcino, San Gimignano, Pienza, and Florence. The owners, Lavinia and her mother, were friendly and open. Check in was a breeze. One does need a car to get around as the property is on the top of a hill with a dirt road leading to it. We had rented a large van to accommodate our group and all the luggage. The road didn't present any problems for us. The villa itself has a large kitchen with all the modern amenities, two large living areas and good size bedrooms. The grounds were a pleasure to walk around. There is a pool only a few meters away from the house that the family enjoyed. On our first day we were left a wonderful bottle of rosé wine in the fridge for us to enjoy. On a table in the kitchen there were also different red wines and vin santo that were produced on the estate. They were of DOCG quality and very reasonably priced. All in all, we would come back here in a New York minute. Staying here with family is idyllic and relaxing.

A view you only experience in the movies, serene and calm environment. A place to relax and get away

Our stay at Ca Nova Sud was a wonderful one. The environment provided the perfect backdrop for a wonderful vacation. The scenery was one you only see in the movies, we could have spent hours just looking into the horizon. When we got to the property, we were met by our hosts (Duccio and Lavinia) and given a tour of the property. We were also able to get information about how to get to the city center and what to do when we got there. During our stay, we got a tour of the family wine cellar by one of our other hosts (Tullio), absolutely lovely. We were able to drive to a bus station 5 minutes away to take a bus into the city center, an absolutely lovely site. Everyone should take the opportunity to visit the Duomo and it surroundings. The property provided us a nice and serene base from which we were able to visit different attractions daily but also provided an environment to enjoy each other's company without having to leave the property. If the opportunity arises, we will spend another go round at Tenuta Larnianone ( Ca Nova Sud), it is the best vacation stay I have been in for a long long while.

Nous avons passé une semaine en famille dans cette superbe maison avec une des vues les plus belle au monde. Anna nous a très bien accueillis, avec une attention permanente à notre confort durant toute la semaine. La maison est très agréable et bien agencée pour une grande famille. Le jardin est extraordinaire et la piscine superbe. La famille d'Anna produit de très bons vins que nous vous conseillons fortement. Le calme et la vue

2 semaines à 2 familles avec des enfants nous avons apprécié ca nova sud. La maison est grande et confortable, les extérieurs superbes avec une vue magnifique sur les collines, les oliviers et les vignes. On se sent seul au monde dans un calme absolu. La belle et grande piscine partagée avec d autres locations est suffisamment en retrait de la maison pour ne pas être dérangé. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette location idéalement située en Toscane.
