Cute little, quiet house - Close to airport
Over all it was a great stay. The location is right by the airport that is why I picked it. I was already out on the island for a week and this capped off my trip. My sister and I stayed on the property. It was comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed. Only thing I will note for others, is the bedroom does not have blackout blinds so bring your sleep mask. The internet is very hit and miss as well but that may have been due to the rain, not sure. The walkway is super steep going down into the place as well. I would have liked to use the patio even though the weather was not great, but that was not available due to the season. I am from the prairies where it's full winter so being outside was something we wanted to enjoy regardless. Over all it was a great stay and If I need a quick, easy spot to the airport, I'd stay again. Host was very responsive if I had a question. Thanks again.

Great spot
Great location - easy drive into Victoria but away from the hustle & bustle. Everything you need is there even coffee/cream & yogurt to start you off. This is my second time staying here and would recommend it to anyone. Take a drive down the road to The Roost for some delicious food as well.

What a fantastic place
We spent some time off work and this place was just what we needed, peace quiet and great location in North Saanich, with a short drive to the airport. Sharon and Paul are great hosts, they really take care of their property and its like your home away from home. The welcoming yogurt and coffee are one of the many details and amenities this place has to offer. Although access to public transportation is a walk away, we recommend renting a car to get around. Accessing the bungalow could be challenging for some, as you have to go down a slope to reach the entry and then back up to leave it. Everything else is just fantastic. We highly recommend. Would recommend the Barrett Bungalow! Booking and communication with owners was prompt and clear and there was no problem locating the property. Amenities were great; even K pods, coffee cream and a couple of yogurts, among other items. The day we arrived, it was in mid 20’s, but there is a ceiling fan and two floor fans, so cooled down to low 20’s with the windows open. Binder of clear instructions on use of TV etc. My wife complained about the bed pillow, but it was fine by me. The bed is a double and a queen size would be nice, but then we had just slept on a king the night before so that is hard to follow! Really quiet neighbourhood and close to walking trails.

Excellent choice
Communication was great and check in was so easy! Love that I could pick my own door code (easy to remember) and the apartment is exactly what I needed. I was trying to come up with something to suggest that was needed and all I could think of was a colander and maybe some books on the area to look through. Great size for a single or couple - and very private from the main residence. I will be staying here again when I come down to the Island again.

Beautiful vacation property!
Amazing property and wonderful location. It took us no time at all to get from the airport to the VRBO. I enjoyed having a designated parking spot. I was travelling with my 18 year old daughter and she loved the property, too! The supplied coffee, tea, cream, and yogurts had us set up every morning for some quick sustenance before we went out for the day to enjoy the area. The property owners supplied a manual that included recommended local restaurants and eateries which was very handy since we wanted to eat local. The outdoor patio area is great for both morning coffees and afternoon drinks. If you are looking for a property with full amenities and peace and quiet where the only sound you hear outside is birds chirping, this is the place to stay!

Wow, we were very impressed with our stay here! From the ease of check-in, to the book of recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing nearby, to the extra hair elastics in the bathroom - this place had amazing little above-and-beyond special touches. If you want to stay near Butchart Gardens and love waking up to the sound of birds singing, this is the place for you! 10/10 would totally stay here again!

met our needs and very quiet area
Overall our stay was very enjoyable. The coffee supplies and Yogurt were a step above. My only criticism would be the comfort of the living room furniture. The location is great close to the ferry, Bouchart Gardens and other beautiful parks. We had originally planned on being there in April but my wife and I both came down with covid 19 on our drive out and contacted Sharon and Paul about cancelling but they recommended postponing and rebooking, they were very gracious about our predicament and we were able to rebook for October. Thank you so much for helping us make it happen. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and the hosts are just great.

Comfortable
This place is homy. We had a comfortable stay. We just slept there at night. We were out during the day. Sheets smelled clean. When we got there I noticed the toilet bowl wasn't thoroughly cleaned so I cleaned it. There were areas that didn't get cleaned. I'm finicky when it comes to cleanliness. I check the nooks and cranies of everything. But other than that, we had a good stay.

Nice stay for an early flight
I had a short but great stay here. Got in late in the evening and was out by 4am to catch a flight. Nice big space for 1-2 people. Yogurt and coffee for the morning. Comfortable with the amenities I needed. Beauty sunrise at 4am, would be a great area to explore more and I would certainly stay again!

This was perfect for us two, it included a beautiful drive, and with it being so close the the airport and ferry it was even more amazing! We had come from an long day at Vancouver, and only having to drive a few minutes was great! The owners were lovely, and the lodging just as sweet. We are thankful for our stay.

Short But Sweet Stay
What a lovely place! Very quiet and off the beaten track. There was no a/c however each room had a big fan and the living room had a ceiling fan, plus the front door had a full screen. It was an unusually hot day but the temperature in the suite was comfortable. I'll definitely rebook here if it's available for my next trip.

Fabulous location, lovely private cozy suite. Loved it and would highly recommend. The only suggestion I would have is they could use a hook in the bathroom for hanging your towel or housecoat up. Other than that it was fabulous!

Tranquille North Saanich Suite
If you have clicked on this property, you have hit the jackpot. This one bedroom suite is absolutely fabulous! The setting is very peaceful in a quiet neighbourhood, close to Butchart Gardens and Victoria Airport. The suite has everything you need including the washer and dryer, hair dryer and sundry items in the bathroom. The hosts were so thoughtful in having yogurt and coffee cream ready for us in the fridge to go with the supplied Keurig machine. The bed is very comfortable and the linens crisp and pristine. The entire suite is immaculately clean. So far this is the best VRBO I have ever been to!

Nice suite in a beautiful location.
Enjoyed our two night stay here. The property is basically a converted attic space to a one bedroom suite but don’t let that dissuade you from booking. It’s setup for easy access and has everything needed (kitchen etc). Paul and Sharon were prompt in their communications. This is a great spot to explore the Saanich Peninsula if you don’t want to stay in downtown Victoria.

Lovely cosy flat!
Such a lovely time at this apartment. My partner and I were starting a new job and it was the perfect location to commute. Such a well stocked and cosy little apartment, we felt completely provided for. Creamer and yoghurts on arrival were such a nice addition, and the owners helped us eagerly with early check in, and extending our stay. We will be back!

We also appreciated the hiking recommendations included in the house manual. The bungalow provided everything what we needed for our stay in Saanich BC.

5 days in the country
Everything was very good. The only glitch was finding our parking spot in the dark. I would suggest arriving in the daylight. It is important to note that the walkway to the door is quite steep for anyone with mobility issues. Beautiful location!
