Everything was so nice. All the attention to detail and thoughtful personal touches. Newer modern bathroom complete with heated towel rack! Cosy free standing electric fireplace, cosy king bed, well equipped kitchenette with some tasty surprises and very quiet. We will definitely be back!!

Bernadette was a perfect host. The compact apartment was perfect for us. We also appreciated the supplied snacks. Great communication with the host. We would definitely recommend this property for a traveling couple near Victoria airport.

Lovely, clean and private
We really enjoyed out two nights. The suite is well designed, very cozy and spacious with everything you need and more. Bernadette was a good resource and respected our privacy. This is a lovely property!

Very nice place and surrounding area. Our host welcomed us when we arrived and helped us get settled. The area has some nice hikes you can easily get to by foot.

Forest hideaway
This gem of a property is as advertised - a quiet hideaway! Thoughtful provisions from the host - fresh fruit, flowers, wine - compliment this well appointed suite. A great base from which to explore North Saanich and Victoria. Highly recommended!

My husband and I spent our wedding night here on Saturday and loved it! It was a beautiful space to relax in, after our busy wedding day.

Quiet, forested spot near ferries and airport
Scenic, quiet location next to a hiking trail. You do get some noise from people walking above you. You will need a vehicle (no Uber and cabs are expensive). Host was pleasant with good communication.

Thanks for your review, Ken. I'm sorry you weren't able to rent a car when you first arrived. This is a helpful caution for people flying in to YYJ -- line up the rental car as early as you can. I enjoyed meeting you both, and wish you all the best.

Enchanting HIdeaway
Bernadette was very hospitable and easy to talk to in renting this Oceanspray Hideaway for the weekend. We loved the elegance of all the features in this suite and the added charm of the wildflowers brought the stay down to earth and peacefully enjoyable. Delightful experience. One of our best stays on the Island, and so close to Sidney. Top notch in our books!

Peaceful wooded setting in wonderful part of Vancouver Island
Bernadette was a very caring and responsive host. The apartment is cozy and well appointed and we enjoyed walking the nearby trails and parks. We chose not to have the breakfasts offered by Bernadette because of our restrictive diets, but if the cookies she bakes are anything to go by, we’d recommend getting her breakfasts! Very handy to have the laundry en-suite, and the heated towel rail makes early mornings so much easier to deal with!

Perfect base for our visit
Bernadette’s property was a great place for my wife and me to use as our base while visiting family in the area. Very clean, quiet and comfortable with some very nice touches. Really appreciated the well stocked tea, coffee and food / snack items. Bernadette was a wonderful host and was readily available to help whenever something was needed. Looking forward to staying again in the future.
