We had a lovely long weekend stay here.

We had a lovely long weekend stay here. Great walks around the area. Games room on site. Lovely cottage to chill out in. The kids and adults loved it. Our host was friendly and helpful. Would love to look at coming again.

Very spacious accommodation which would easily accommodate six. Warm and cosy. Good level of equipment. Games room a bonus for evening/ wet days. Plenty of parking. We would definitely stay again!

We spent five weeks at Piglet's Place in between house moves and we were really impressed at how warm and comfortable it was. The beds were comfortable too, something that's quite unusual in holiday cottages. Internet wasn't scintillating (about 5 Mbps), but was perfectly acceptable, and allowed us to stream Netflix from our Amazon Fire TV stick as well as letting my daughter, who's a teacher, do a considerable amount of on-line stuff (post videos etc.) We would recommend anybody to visit Piglet's place. We would be back in a heartbeat if we weren't now living quite nearby! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Piglets Place was a lovely barn conversion, perfect for our family of 4 adults 2 children. The cottage was very clean with extra measures in place due to the pandemic. The kitchen was well equipped. The lounge was comfy and it was great that it overlooked the garden as the children spent most evenings playing outside. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms had plenty of storage. This was our fourth visit to Piglets Place, and we shall definitely be returning again in the future. Plenty of space for 6 people, with a well-equipped kitchen. Thoughtful owner provides milk, tea and biscuits ready for arrival. Lovely cottage!

Cottage was beautifully clean and well equipped for a self-catering holiday. Wifi was a bit temperamental (not so good for teenage children in the evenings!) but cottage was very comfortable. We had a relaxing time exploring local towns and walking.

Amazing cottage with plenty of space for the whole group.

Amazing cottage with plenty of space for the whole group. A very cosy and well kept place to use as a base to explore nearby or to just spend time with friends and family - especially with the added games room to use. Only suggested improvements would be the de-scaling of the kettle and sharpening of the knives for use - apart from those minor changes, we would thoroughly recommend Piglets Place
