I booked it as a 10 year anniversary get away for my husband and I and it was a good get away, we had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and it was good.

Two Sisters at 2439 Fairfield

Had a great time with my sister taking a tour of a local Victorian home, staying it made the trip.

Fried Pies — Oh My!!

If you’re looking for an authentic Victorian B&B experience, full of period antiques, stained glass and loads of charm, the 2439 Fairfield will surely not disappoint. This four bedroom inn has uniquely decorated cozy bedrooms each with its own private bath. We stayed in the Vicki Gail with its large king bed that was oh so comfy with super-soft Ralph Lauren floral sheets. What a delight to climb into this bed after a day of exploring Shreveport and taking in a concert at the nearby Shreveport Municipal Memorial Auditorium. The full private bath included a jacuzzi tub and pedestal sink. We thoroughly enjoyed a full hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, sautéed mushrooms, sausage and links, two types of English muffins with Mayhaw jelly or pear butter, freshly cut fruit and cheese, delectable banana bread, two types of juice, coffee, and a variety of teas. And if that wasn’t enough to bust our buttons, Bryan brought out the fried pie—OMG, they are incredible! We opted for the apple and the coconut and will look forward to trying both the lemon and the blackberry the next time we want a romantic weekend away.

Awesome B&B

I will never stay anywhere else but here when visiting Shreveport. I had a great weekend. The home is incredible. The owner has spent most of his adult life collecting antiques and every room in the house is filled with them. You could spend an entire weekend just exploring the home and he give you free reign to explore. It's also in a neighborhood that is full of 19th century homes and they are all beautiful. It's also close to so many places. Just a really relaxing weekend.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

I would recommend this place a thousand times over any place I have ever been to. It feels like home and the everyone is extremely nice. I only stayed for one night, and I swear it was an experience by itself. I didn't want to leave the place at all. Also, the breakfast was wonderful and the atmosphere was so breathtaking.

Charming and relaxing

A wonderful experience in the middle of Shreveport. We just stayed one night but Brian and Jimmy are great hosts. Room is cozy and a wonderful bed ensures restful night. Can't go wrong here.

Beautiful Bed and breakfast

This place is amazing beautiful home. The bed was very nice and comfortable. The owner very friendly and cooks homemade breakfast in the mornings. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Shreveport.

It was our Anniversary weekend and our first time staying at a bed and breakfast.It was wonderful the owner is so additive and he made sure we had a memorable stay.I will definitely be back and recommend it to friends and family!

Best B&B ever

I really enjoyed my stay. It was very easy to find. The decor was stunning. The homemade breakfast was to die for. The owner was absolutely great. The bed and the quilts made me have the best nights sleep that I have had in a while. The only this that i could not figure out was how to lock your individual room when I stepped out. It does have a deadbolt while you are in the room. I would deffinately reccommend this to anyone and I will come again... great time.. thanks. RL.

25 Year Aniversary

We selected this Bed & Bath from the internet with no knowledge of the area. We have never been to Shreveport. The place is a wonder, the restoration it must have been. All the collectables decorating the house and the history that it contains is just fabulous.

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast

This is the only Bed and Breakfast we have stayed in, so we don't have much to compare it to, but it was beautiful, relaxing, and the manager was incredibly nice. It rained the whole three days we were there, but that wasn't too big of a problem, since we planned on staying in the extremely comfortable bed most of the time anyway. The breakfast was good, and even better, the time for it was flexible. I would absolutely recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for a nice relaxing get away.

The owner was not home when I arrived

I had to find an envelope with the key and instructions to get in and never did meet the owner until breakfast. Not a particularly friendly guy, to say the least. I like to learn about the area but there was no time to do so. No room for my laptop in this "fancy" room. I would not stay here again.

Friendly owner, awesome pies

The owner is so friendly and helpful! Our room was decorated very flowery and lacy. The bed was ridiculously comfortable. Everything was clean and well kept. Make sure you get a fried pie in the morning! Coconut cream was our favorite.

A fun, charming getaway

Nice little getaway. Time for an update though. Wood floors were VERY squeaky. No outlet in the bathroom! A little dusty for those with allergies. Would have like extended breakfast hours.

Quiet and relaxing as well as close to sights

It was wonderful. Jimmy was a great host and we loved the atmosphere. The room was very clean and we look forward to returning in the future. Breakfast was very good and the fried pies are the best.
