The positives:
- Great location
- Plenty of space
- Nicely furnished and decorated
- Plenty of linens
- Responsive owner, tried to fix things
- Easy check in
- Dual AC was great!
Some things to consider for those that are going to rent this property.
- Kitchen cookware needs upgraded, pots and pans scratched
- Ice maker not working
- Master bed mattress very firm (owner supplied mattress topper when we mentioned it being uncomfortable, while it have it added cushion, we rolled to the middle, probably just needs replaced).
- Soda machine not working, arcade game not working- owner is aware, welcome letter explained they haven't been able to find someone to repair them in the white mountain area. We didn't read this until pulling in the driveway (our fault) but they are both still pictured in the listing and we expected to be able to use them.
- Multiple windows would not lock- owner was unaware until we mentioned it.
- Air Hockey table not working well, owner was unaware.
- Hot water only lasts about 8-10 minutes in the master shower- water heater turned on the hottest setting. Water pressure is really good (not adjustable), so this may be the problem. Owner was made aware.
- Living room light fixture not working so it was pretty dark. Owner scheduled an electrician to come over, but he didn't show and we were unable to reschedule.
These things that were not in working order, were some of the reasons we rented the house in the first place. With these things fixed and upgraded, we would gladly give the home 5 stars, but as is, I feel 3 is fair.
