"The staff at the reception is nice and cordial. The property is old but spacious. Our room is without view but close to the kitchen. There is a wonderful cafe house neighboring the hotel and in the morning it is full of customers and you can get a sense of community. Riverside boardwalk under the hotel building is an additional advantage to this property. "

The star rating of the property doesn’t reflect the actual experience.,The owners are renovating the property and even the partially renovated original rooms are worthy of a 4 and 1/2 star rating. "Perfect place for a stay in Bargara. It is about a 15 minute walk to the tavern and cafes but it’s a very nice walk along the waterfront. The units have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. "

"Clean, pristine, clean, safe, impeccably managed, clean. Did I mention clean? This motel was a breath of fresh air on our road trip. We have been staying in a few motels that review as clean, and mostly they are, but there's usually somewhere they let themselves down (ie grotty mould around the bottom of showers).
