"Lovely Pub/Hotel in a delightful village. The food and atmosphere were fantastic. Staff very friendly and obliging. If I had one criticism, it needs a bit of a touch up, lots of chipped paintwork and loose fittings, fixed a couple myself. But certainly didn’t detract from our stay."

"Our party was three couples (and a dog) meeting up from three different locations and so in three separate vehicles. There was (safe) parking for five or six vehicles! Three comfortable double rooms and two bathrooms gave us everything we needed for a really comfortable weekend. If anything I would say that the pictures don’t really do it Justice. I mean, it looks nice in the pictures but it’s actually even nicer. Some places we looked at said that they accommodated 6 but had a dining table...

"Overall the accommodation was great and we would 100% recommend this property to one and all.However, for those with a dog wishing to book this property beware, there is no walking from the accommodation other than a small field adjacent which the farmer is happy for you to use for early morning relief!The owner needs to read the guestbook as a number of minor issues have been highlighted, but never rectified for example the lack of coat hanging in the entrance hall where two very suitable...

"From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly, after a 3 and half hour journey we had a lovely roast dinner and a beer which went down very well. We were then shown our room which was perfect, and matched the quaint pub, the bed was comfortable. tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, & water readily available, en-suite with shower and t.v. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and local produce. Final evening we had a lovely meal which coincided with my husbands birthday, the dessert came out...
