"I had made a mistake when booking the room, i booked a 'snug'. With two Golden Retrievers - a big mistake. Management were great and found us an outside room that was more suited. Loved the staff, other customers and the people in general. Felt the history."

"So very welcoming and friendly , excellent customer service . Superb choice of breakfast and cooked to perfection. We ate in the restaurant one evening which was also of a very high standard. Our sea view room on the first floor was very clean and it was great to have a small fridge included.The only very small negative which did not spoil our stay , if you are on the first floor you may hear other customers walking about in their room from the floor above ."

In particular when we went to have a swim one of the members of staff on the leisure centre desk was extremely helpful My husband… who is in his 60’s … has early onset Alzheimer’s. "Fantastic stay. I received a warm welcome and was informed of the history of the main house and given informationabout breakfast and the relaxing bar area. Breakfast orders are taken the evening before, and my order was delivered to the dining room at exactly the time ordered (it was hot, fresh and delicious). There are cereals etc already in the room.
