"Lovely small on the Shimanami Kaido bicycle route. Spacious room with Japanese style beds on raised platform and tatami mat sitting area with table and cushions. In-room amenities included electric kettle with tea and coffee supplies, Bose Bluetooth speaker, safe, complimentary water, juice, and beer. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. There are onsite baths, but we didn’t use them. The hotel is located on a charming street, just a few steps from the water and right near the ferry port....

"The air cleaner machine in the room was a nice plus; used it whenever we were in the room. The breakfast brunch was very good with a wide selection to choose from; I ate an American breakfast and my wife ate mostly Japanese dishes. Also being able to leave our luggage with the Bell Captain until time to head to the airport was very convenient."

"町では1番のホテルなのだと思いますが、だいぶ古くなって来て、あちらこちらに汚れと荒れが目立ちます。そろそろ限界か。朝食は田舎にしては値段と内容でコスト高の印象。が、離れた場所にあるホテルなので他に食 朝食の選択がなく仕方ない。部屋は清潔に掃除されてますが、空調吹き出し口の周りの汚れなど気になり、夜中、息苦しくなって目が覚めた。アレルギー反応だったかもしれない。そろそろ建物、装備が耐用年数超えかもしれない。問い合わせの電話をしたが、アンサーフォンで、オプション番号も選べず、地方都市の人手不足（あるいは低賃金）と宿泊施設のコストカット方針を実感した。その後、問い合わせメールをしたら比較的早く電話で確認の返信が来た。新居浜市泊ではベストのホテルのようです。"
