Nestled in the peaceful village of Leigh, Dorset, Hintock is a beautifully crafted shepherd's hut with far-reaching countryside views, an outdoor bath and plenty of privacy. Perfect for romantic breaks, special occasions or solo escapes, this elegant Dorset shepherd's hut offers a peaceful glamping retreat where you can switch off, relax and enjoy a few days away from the rush of everything life.

Step through the French doors and you'll find a bright, open-plan living space that has been thoughtfully designed to make the most of the surrounding views. On one side is a comfortable king-size bed with Egyptian cotton bedding and useful storage underneath, while opposite you'll find a leather sofa and television for cosy evenings indoors.

The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, electric hob, fridge freezer and sink, giving you everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. There's also a dining table for two positioned by the window, making it a lovely spot for breakfast or an evening meal while looking out across the Dorset countryside.

At the end of the hut is the en-suite bathroom, complete with a shower, wash basin and WC.

Outside, Hintock really comes into its own. The private outdoor bath sits on its own patio area, perfectly positioned to enjoy the views across the surrounding fields. Start the day with a coffee in the fresh air, spend the afternoon exploring Dorset's countryside and coastline, then return to soak in the bath as the sun begins to set.

The firepit doubles as a barbecue, making outdoor cooking part of the experience, while the bespoke wooden deckchairs provide the perfect place to relax with a drink, read a book or simply sitting back and taking in the view.

One of the things guests love most about staying here is the sense of space and tranquillity. During the day, you'll hear birdsong and little else, while on clear evenings the dark Dorset skies make it easy to enjoy the stars from the comfort of your own private outdoor space.
Wander through the historic streets of Sherborne, visit local farm shops and country pubs or head to the stunning Jurassic Coast, where beaches such as West Bay, Burton Bradstock and Lyme Regis are all within easy reach.
