"This property was the Center of local life as evidenced by the largely full parking lot. Owner operating Staff was friendly and accommodating however worked. Very good value! I would definitely stay here again if for no other reason that it was an authentic British experience!"

"Reasonably priced big room with all amenities needed Only criticism would be the info on the website is wrong as said we had till 11pm to check in but we were out and they rang and said they actually close at 10 so we had to rush to get there "

"Amazing stay, staff are great and the food is always fantastic. The only point for improvement is that is a difference in the rooms between above the bar and the ground level rooms which the price doesn’t reflect very well"

"We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas."

"The staff lady who greeted us was polite and courteous and allowed us to check in a little early as the room was ready. The bar area was dark but cozy. they have a beer garden but the weather was unforgiving so we could not experience it The room was fine and the bed comfortable. The bathroom had all the amenities that you would expect and was clean. The shower was a little tight but the water pressure was great. "What a great place. Will definitely be visiting again. Lovely room, nice pub, log fire, good food deals, great location, lovely breakfast, dog friendly & staff were amazing. They have got it all just right. "
