"Fantastic getaway with our kids (10 and 6). The house was so cozy and felt like such a home. Well equipped and hosts were so lovely! We enjoyed walking around Charlottesville, doing hikes and sitting by the fire and reading! Beds were very comfortable and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend! An amazing escape from busy life! "

"House was clean, nicely arranged and very spacious. The only issue we experienced was with the front door. Upon arriving the deadbolt which is controlled by a key pad unlocked however, the doorknob was also locked. We called the number listed on VRBO and received tje automatic VRBO line and was extremely unhelpful. "This house is perfect for a girls weekend. We did a couple places further out but enjoyed Bold Rock and Devils Backbone. It had everything we needed to enjoy some much needed time to relax at the house also. "

"Great location to visit company in Roanoke. There are lots of chickens running around. The bed was very comfortable. Our pup had fun, big yard. The property had lots of character. Pet bed and dishes were also available, nice touch."
