Unable to travel due to weather conditions. Travel advisory said it was impossible to go to the location of the house. Vacasa decided to keep my money- all of it, even cleaning fees, that I presume they didn't have to clean after nobody was able to travel to stay. I have waited for hours on the phone to talk to someone from Vacasa. Then I waited over 1 hr to talk to VRBO on the phone. Made these travel plans within 14:days of leaving for trip only to find out there was a storm in the area. Great to hear, that you have a policy protecting you from doing the right thing by changing dates or reimbursing money spent by me and 5 other people who also didn't want to get stuck in a storm at your location. Lesson learned here. I don't expect an email back or a phone call since it has been over a week since I contacted this business about the storm warning and inability to travel through email. We're all so burnt on the experience with your company we won't book again through you, VRBO, or home away. 6;professionals in healthcare and education, not willing to use your services.
