"A pleasant surprise to find the accommodation was actually as nice as the photos (which is sadly rare in a lot of holiday homes). Very clean, nice, and comfortable, And roomier than expected. Pip and Tanya, at the pub restaurant next door, were welcoming and helpful when we arrived and friendly throughout our stay. Plus the pizzas were huge and tasty. "My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. "The cabin was perfect size for 4 adults and clean when we arrived. The hot tub was in great working condition and the instructions were easy to follow. The outdoor shower was clean and location was very convenient. The host is a fantastic communicator! The fans provided really helped with the temperature in the cabin. The floating dock was easy to get to using either the canoe, kayak or paddle board. We caught a ton of perch and a couple trout. We want to come back again! "
