"I had an extremely poor experience at easyHotel Ipswich and would not stay here again. Before arrival, I contacted the hotel to add my daughter to the booking but received no response. Instead, I was sent a generic reminder to bring ID, which I did (including my passport), yet no ID was even checked on arrival. "Wes re a couple and stayed for one night only as we had a course in Colchester the next day. Pleasant stay, breakfast very well served, staff helpful, location very convenient. We had an accessible room just noticed the shower curtains a bit dirty but all the rest was in perfect condition. Car park is paid for 8£ per night."

"We booked a last minute break as the weather was expected to be great and this little hotel and pub turned out to be every bit as good as the weather. The room was quite compact but equally very comfortable, and had the benefit of a balcony over looking the estuary and boat yard. "Ok but do NOT book in the summer!! Only one room has air con and the heated towel rail can not be turned off! Even with the fuse removed (owner advised we remove). This made the bathroom ridiculous hot which filtered through to the room. Room wasn’t the cleanest, stains up the walls from coffee (I hope) Aircon in all rooms would make it much more comfortable and the rest could be overlooked. Staff were fantastic though."

"This is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast hotel with comfortable rooms, great breakfasts and tasty beer! Staff is helpful and friendly. We participated in a fun quiz night on Wednesday evening. Also had a great meal for a small family gathering in the restaurant. We highly recommend this hotel."

Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. "was unable to sleep in the bed as the room had a major issue with black mould in the bathroom which had become airborne & affected the the entire room the smell was over powering slept in a chair as the bed was cover with the black mould smell & was unable to breath, suffer with chest infections which the spores got on my chest I had to call 111 & was directed to Ipswich hospital for antibiotics, never even stopped for breakfast on day 2 felt to ill on antibiotics for next 5 days, this all...

"No parking when I got there and not a big car park anyway, room was dirty with hair left in the shower, bed was lumpy and creaked everytime I l moved. Also wasn't made aware that there was a function on until I checked in which was noisy up until midnight."
