Exactly as advertised. Fully equipped, large kitchen. Comfortable beds. Nice that each room has its own thermostat and the gas fireplace kept everything toasty during 20 degree nights. Check in and out was super easy. Host was readily accessible if needed. Great price for everything included.

We stayed for 2 very cold days in February and this place was cozy with the gas fireplace. The beds were comfortable. Erick is a great host who quickly responds to questions.

Erick is an amazing host and his homes are beautiful, comfortable and have everything you need to have a perfect stay.Our family has rented both of his homes on Lake Michigan and our time there has been amazing.I would highly recommend either house to anyone looking to retreat to a peaceful, beautiful location within walking distance from the beach. They are both stunning locations.

Dishwasher did not work, hot water heater old and in need of repair as evidenced by hot water running out during shower and the tv was too old to stream anything. Internet was very slow as well. The house itself was fine and the location was good. Our biggest complaint centers around a repair man entering the premises while we were away without our knowledge or consent. When owner realized we had complained he was apologetic that I ‘felt’ this was an unsafe incident. Do yourself a favor and just book somewhere else.

The house was in a great location, and had everything we needed. However the bedrooms (especially the one to the left of the bathroom) was very smelly. Smelled like mildew, carpets probably need to be heavily cleaned.

Lake Michigan getaway

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. We enjoyed relaxing and exploring the various small towns in the area. The best part was the beautiful beach just a short walk or drive away. We would definitely rent again in the future.

Boys get away

This was my husband and his boys Christmas present. Ride the dunes and paddle their kayaks..This property was 20 min drive everything..very convenient. The home itself was very nice. Equiped with everything. Erick checked to make sure they made it ok.. Hoping to make this an annual trip again staying here.Thank you for making this a memorable trip.

Sand, Sun and Fun

This property is great. The proximity to Silver Lake, Lake Michigan and all the area attractions is ideal. The private beach on Lake Michigan is perfect. We will be back! We had our grandchildren along and the home is perfect for kids and adults. So clean and comfortable with everything we needed to make our vacation perfect. We will be back 100%!

Exceeded Our Expectations

We enjoyed a beautiful sunset on Lake Michigan which is only a very short ditance from the cottage. We had quiet bonfires in the backyard fire pit. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The cottage is beauriful. Very clean and well decorated. Our host, Erik, was great.

A Lovely Quiet Getaway

My family and I stayed for a weekend in the off season, and we had a very nice time. Erick is very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the area, able to answer any questions you might have. The cottage is situated in a neighborhood, so it's ideal for those who want to have a quiet stay and aren't planning to get up to too much rowdiness. The neighborhood private beach access is just a short drive or brisk walk down the road, and we got there just in time to see a stunning Lake Michigan sunset. As the listing says, the bathroom is quite small, so it might be close quarters for a big group with lots of kids who all want to take showers etc., but if you're looking for a cozy and relaxing spot close to the lake, it's perfect.

Lake Michigan on ice

My daughter and myself travel to this lake house to see the ice on Lake Michigan. We actually arrived late roughly around 10 PM and for some reason we were not able to get in. I called Eric the property owner and he was so helpful. he got us in right away, and he gave us a rundown of everything how to access the lake, great places to eat he also ran through the cabin with us to make sure everything was perfect. We’ve used Vrbo a lot over the years and this was probably our favorite place that we’ve stayed. It was just two of us that went but this place is great for a family. There’s lots of room lots of beds.

I stayed here for a couple of nights in the middle of a snowy winter.Pros - Communication w/ Owner, great location, cute town, Clean unit, everything worked/fully stockedCons - The one bathroom reminded me of being in downtown London, England....very smallOverall - Great stay, I'd recommend highly.

Quiet girls getaway

This property was so cozy and clean! We were able to disconnect and unwind while watching the local deer in the side yard. We were also able to visit the beach and see the winter wonderland it has become this winter. The host, Eric was quick to share information on the local restaurants and other local businesses that made our stay easy and fulfilling. I would like to recommend this property to anyone.

This was the perfect spot for my husband and I, we were in the area visiting for a wedding in mid-January. It was very quiet since it was the off season. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We’d love to come back during the summer months when we can enjoy the lake and sunshine!
