"The home was beautiful and felt very new, up-to-date and modern. The home, as well as the location, were lovely and peaceful. We were in the area for a wedding and had other family members in another VRBO. We were all able to come together (apprx 16 of us) at this home for hamburgers on the grill and to sit back, relax and enjoy marshmallows over the firepit later in the evening. "

"This home is immaculate! It looks like everything has been recently remodeled. Everything looks brand new and very modern. Terry was very responsive and accommodating. This home is such a good deal for the size and the condition. Awesome elevated deck outside. My guests were very happy with their stay."

"Check in and check out process super easy. Cathy was once nice and responsive to any questions we had. We loved the house. Decor is adorable. It’s remote as mentioned in the listing. Little to no cell phone service. WiFi was ok. We didn’t mind at all. It was enough for us to communicate with our families at home if needed. Backyard is so cute. "Technicolor retreat was a great relaxing getaway. The home is lovely and the location on the river was so relaxing after a day in the Dunes or Chicago. It felt very secluded and private. We can’t wait to go back. We were able to take our golden retriever who loves all things woods and water. Wish we could have stayed longer! "

"The area was super quiet and pitch black at night. The tent was cute and perfect size. We however did not end up staying. It was super smokey, when I opened the stove to add wood even more smoke poured from it. Being from eastern Kentucky those are what we had and they shouldn't do that, so I'm thinking the pipe was getting clogged. If not for that it would have been super cozy."

"This was the perfect place for my husband and I and another couple to enjoy a much needed R&R weekend. The place was amazing from a welcome email from Eric and Marisa with perfect instructions and brief videos to restaurant suggestions. The house was so cute and comfortable. Everything was labeled and if you forgot something, they had it. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Great place for a family vacation or just some friends needing some catching up. Thank you to the Moons!"

"Cute ranch home, and plenty of space for my family. We had access to a grill, air fryer, and all the necessary appliances as well. It was also nice to be right off of Main Street, with easy access in and out of town. Our host was very polite, and super fast to respond to all of our needs."

"We chose this property because of it's location between Indianapolis and Chicago, as half our group was coming from each city. The house and outdoor area met every expectation for our weekend together. Michel was incredibly responsive and asked very little of us as guests. We rarely left the house, but when we did, downtown DeMotte had a great diner (Steve's Grill) and really nice grocery store. Very likely our group will try to make this our annual meet up location."
