Correcto por fuera, decepcionante por detro

La moqueta de la habitacion edtaba mojada. La lampara e pared, rota i mefio desmontada, a punto de descolgarse. No habia mesitas de noche, solo un pequeño escritorio. Durante la noche se oyeron, durante mucho rato, gritos, discusiones y fuertes golpes.

They Don’t Honor Reservations!!

This place looked pretty run down when we pulled in. Worst part, they said they had no room for us! We made a reservation on hotels.com, but that meant nothing to the North Star! We had no choice but to leave and try to find something else on a weekend when everything was booked in the area. Terrible experience!

Bring this motel out of the 70s

Had to continuously jiggle the key to the door to get it to unlock. Did not know they wouldn't be serving breakfast until 7:30 a.m. and I had to be on the road at 6:30 a.m. Who waits until 7:30 to start serving breakfast!?

Nasty

The room was nasty. Stains on the bed, rips in the sheets. The bathroom was falling apart and really gross and unclean. Had to run to Target for new bed bug sheets and blankets. No hairdryer just stand for one. Paid for 3 adults only had two beds. So nasty and gross.

We were looking for a clean, affordable room with a comfortable bed. The North Star is not fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast included a variety of grocery-store bakery pastries, a variety of bread, muffins, and cereals, apples, bananas, clementines, microwavable breakfast sandwiches and so on. There were plenty of choices. I expected our room to have a refrigerator, but it did not. Some rooms have them but many don't. If that's a high priority for you it might be good to contact the hotel directly before checking in. Those who are very sensitive to air freshener may want to stay elsewhere. The scent wasn't overwhelming, but it was noticeable. It seemed to come more from the hallway than to have been sprayed in rooms, but I know people for whom that would be a problem.

Bien situé! Bon petit déjeuner. J’aurais préféré avoir des lits queen car des lits double c’est un peu étroit pour deux personnes. Bon rapport qualité prix!

very happy I stayed here

Perfect for what I needed -- a budget, last minute booking. Was VERY happy. I checked in late, and staff were extremely kind and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable. Could not ask for more at this price. Will absolutely stay here again.

OK: Older Motel

First impression: blast from the past. Pine-Sol smell pretty heavy in lobby and room. BUT! They have updated furniture in rooms,room was as pictured here (lobby is plast from past, 50's) and they are very clean. And the staff was so wonderful, friendly and helpful. When we arrived my kids looked up reviews online, and immediatly were concerned about drugs and shady people, but we did not see anything and everyone else staying seemed totaly normal! They offer breakfast in the lobby and we were impressed at the variety of pastry, fruit, yogurt, cereals, bagels, breakfast sandwiches etc..One strange thing this was there were no fitted sheets on the bed, only flat sheets tucked in.We did not use shower, didnt look so good,and didnt want my barefeet in there. Other than that, not too bad of a stay, definatly friendly service, clean, pretty OK breakfast.(and did not see any shady business as some reviews online said)

The property was clean and the staff really pleasant. It was affordable and price was we were looking for so there weren't really a lot of amenities. But the parking was close and there was a little fridge in the room where we could put items. Overall I was very happy with our stay.

Its a motel: it will get the job done.

The staff was very nice, the room was just really old, poorly furnished and not cleaned well. I found some used plastic cups, and trash underneath the bed. I just tossed out the trash, sprayed some febreeze, and had to make do. It was literally in the basement and the window pointed out towards the busy street, so it was not a quite nights sleep. The room was supposed to be a smoke free queen. At best it was a very cheap single, and I found old cigarette buds stuffed inside the plastic cups underneath the bed. I wasn't trying to get too upset because I was on a last minute business trip and this was the only room I could get within 30 minutes of my location. That being said $244 was pretty criminal for a dirty room. I think 4/10 is a fair rating for this establishment. Its a motel, it will get the job done, just have realistic exceptions.

Not a bad motel was very clean plenty of towels. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was pretty good. It is an older motel we were just there to sleep actually. Could use some updating. But overall it was not bad and the sheets were clean. I seen other reviews saying it was musty smelling and drug addicts outside. I do not agree!!!!! Seen and smelt none of that.

Our Orbitz reservation said the hotel office was open until 11:30. Our flights were unexpectedly delay and we arrived at 11:20pm. No one was in the office and no information on our pre-paid room or other instruction was left. I repeatedly tried to call and the phone was not answered. I found another hotel and we drove away. About 5 minutes later the hotel called and and the staff said we could come back and that they had just missed us. We did and the rest of the stay was fine, however, this checkin experience was the worst of the many hotels I have stayed in over decades of travel.

Having a door to the outside and a door to the inside of the building both from the room was cool. Space in the room and bathroom were cramped. The motel has a strong unpleasent cleaning chemical smell. The lighting was not working/inadequate for the room.

Location was good. Property needed some serious repairs and updates.. was afraid to sit on chairs; they were so rickety. Glass in screen door gone.
