The place is, exactly as others reviewed, not perfectly clean. The bathroom was clean, but the living room hardwood floor and loft carpet floor were dirty. Not that type of house that you want to take off your socks (maybe even shoes).
The first night we stayed, right before we are ready to go to sleep, we found a bat flying low in the living room. The celling was high (it's a loft studio), so we thought that the bat was resting near the chimney.
The "property manager" was on vacation, we called the number that was left on the table, only were told that "bats are wonderful beautiful creatures and they eat mosquitos", and he won't be able to come since it's almost midnight that we "either sleep with it, or open the doors and wait for it to fly out". Luckily the bat fly out in the next hour and when we wake up the second morning, the view in front of the house was beautiful (with the water and the trees).
Overall, the experience was fine. The house has a beautiful front porch where we spent majority of our stay. In side was fine but not as clean as a hotel room.
Also, the on call contact called the second morning to check in with us, which is nice of him.
