Cabin Trip
Overall, the property was nice and clean. Just some minor things on the floor. Beds were comfortable then most places we have stayed. One thing I will say is that a lot of the stuff in the kitchen were broken and not able to be used. Another thing is that the games including the pool table were ripped and broken. The furniture is old and I recommend that it gets updated for future stays. Furthermore, it was stated that the kitchen was fully stocked with spices but it was not. Finally, I would say the fire place was the best thing in the house! It was super warm and kept us nice and cozy.

pretty much was as expected. The games were like a lot of the other rentals - old, barely usable or broken. For the amount of money we spent, a yearly upkeep would go a long way towards getting return clients. Apparently, the calendar is kept booked, so no one cares. A few small details would make things more normal, such as hangers, clothes hooks, etc. The kitchen was well stocked. Also, the 4 car garage was an unknown addition, as well as the master bathroom. All in all, we would come back.

Winter oasis
This home was the perfect location to allow our kids unlimited access to snow, and enjoy the beauty of Shaver! Close enough if you need to go into town, but far enough out to enjoy peace and quiet. Plenty of amenities and room for everyone! We can’t wait to come back.

Winter Wonderland
What a great time in Shaver Lake. The house was great. Plenty of room for all of us. The kids loved the game room and so did the adults. We were able to build a sled run right out the back door and the kids played for hours each day we were there. The house was clean and well kept. If I had any cons they would be that the gas fireplace wasn't working and we weren't notified before our arrival. I did contact the booking agency and they did send someone out to fix it but couldn't. The central heat worked but the big living room was cold at times where a fireplace would have helped. Overall this is a great home for families to enjoy the snow in Shaver.

House is not great as shown in pictures.
Didn’t expect such poor maintenance & false advertising. 1. Advertised grill in the ad - When reported issue, got msg that’s it’s non functional. Mentioned in msg it will be checked but none showed up. 2. Broken window glass & shower handle. Not sure if they had kept them broken in case to plan to collect as damage charges. Reported these findings in vrbo app 3. Couch, carpets are so dirty. Atleast shampoo’ed now and then. 4. Those carpets end are trip hazards. Not properly glued. 5. Kids bed room is super super hot. This room needs some window so it can be opened to allow fresh air. Too bad. 6. Knives are no sharp. Some of those couldn’t even cut an onion. Don’t know what kind of property maintenance. And everyone has fees to charge in your booking and they simple want to make money. Seems to use just vacuum & give to next guests. Not sure why they collect so much in cleaning fees. We just saw the rating & pictures. Didn’t read previous reviews posted a year back about hot kids room, dirty carpet etc. else wouldn’t have booked it. Unfortunately these platforms are so bad, not like hotel they offer different room on complaints. Your money was taken way in advance; so it’s not worth their time to put effort in fixing. People are anyways booking and they making money; so who cares. If you are someone with no kids, don’t use kitchen, just sleep & get out it should be ok. If you plan to use kitchen, grill, have kids etc. check something else. Don't recommend this place. Only one thing was good - Pool table & other game tables for kids. So one star is justifiable. It wasn’t worth to paying heft amount they collected for 3 days of the long weekend for this poorly maintained, unventilated, false advertised and unclean furniture/carpets.

Overall set up was good outside BBQ was a good set up and had lots of room for snow play area in back yard the heater in living Smelled like gas was leaking so we did not use it
