"Right in the heart of the Barbican this is a lovely modern apartment in a historic looking building. I loved that the hallway and stairs that lead to the apartment, and the apartment itself were adorned with the artwork of a local artist. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay!"

"Fabulous house ,photos don't do it justice,suitable for all ages,vast array of amenities,pool and hot tub well used and enjoyed BBQ outside ,take a hairdryer with you tho as only thing I couldn't find .would highly recommend,seems expensive but not for you have , communication with booking site and hosts was excellent too , perfect location but be aware satnav takes you slightly off ,we missed the driveway twice lol ,we as a large party will definitely go back ."

"Stayed here for 4 nights. The house was well equipped and very clean. Communication with host was great. A lovely gesture by the host leaving a bottle of prosecco and box of fudge. Very close to the beachfront, which was great as parents are almost 90 years old. Didn't realise the caravan park was directly in front which was our main view, small view of the sea could be seen from balcony. "Kjempefint leilighetshotell. Ryddig og rent. God plass i leilighet nr.5 til to voksne og to barn. Rolige og trygge omgivelser. Eierene bor i huset, så lett å få hjelp om en lurer på noe. Ca 5 minutt å gå fra togstasjonen med store kofferter. Ca 10 minutt å gå til nærmeste strand Torre Abbey Sands. Bor en kjempesøt katt i huset som ofte satt utenfor kom og hilste på oss når vi åpnet ytterdøren."

"AVOID. Difficult to know where to start. This apartment was mis-sold, as it is student accommodation (10 bedrooms per flat). Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. "The location is excellent for that true English experience with rolling green hills and flowers everywhere. Tight roads and tall hedgerows. The home opens up to enjoy all of this all wile having a beautiful view of the ocean. The walks were incredible! Go one direction and enjoy walk paths with pastures and green countryside. Walk the other direction and find a beautiful beach and rocks to walk along the ocean! Mark was wonderful to work with. He was there if we had any questions or assistance!...

"Beautiful property in a stunning location. The owner was on hand and lovely. Vrbo listing is inaccurate as states Polperro, Looe, however location is Portwrinkle. The owner does provide an accurate location before checking in however. Fantastic week in a beautiful location, will hopefully return one day."

"We stayed in this location many years ago when it was a static caravan site. It has improved since then! The lodge is situated among similar buildings in a quiet, well maintained site. There is plenty of parking. (You need a vehicle, as Salcombe and other attractions are not within easy walking distance).The lodge is comfortable, well equipped and nicely situated, at the edge of the park with a partial sea view. We enjoyed our stay! "

Nada que ver con las fotos: una gran decepción

" Las fotos publicadas no reflejan la realidad del hotel. El edificio es muy antiguo y está visiblemente descuidado, sin mantenimiento alguno. El personal de recepción fue poco servicial y proporcionó información incorrecta. La habitación que nos asignaron era terrible, muy diferente a lo que muestran en las imágenes. Curiosamente, vimos otra con la puerta abierta que parecía estar en mejores condiciones. Al leer opiniones de otros huéspedes, descubrimos que es común que asignen primero las peores habitaciones, y que si uno pide un cambio, a veces le dan una mejor. En nuestro caso, hacía muchísimo calor y la ventana apenas se podía abrir. Además, daba directamente al parking, por lo que cualquiera podría haber entrado fácilmente. La puerta de la habitación no tenía cerrojo interior, lo que nos hizo sentir inseguros durante la noche. El baño estaba muy deteriorado, al igual que todo en la habitación: viejo, descuidado y sin mantenimiento. Nos aliviamos al saber que solo pasaríamos una noche allí. Aunque teníamos el desayuno incluido, decidimos no tomarlo. La experiencia fue francamente horrible. No lo recomiendo bajo ninguna circunstancia. Nos dejamos llevar por las fotos del edificio y de algunas habitaciones que parecían prometedoras, creyendo que sería uno de los mejores hoteles del viaje. Lamentablemente, fue el peor. Aunque dicen que está en el centro, no había nada abierto cerca para cenar. En definitiva, una experiencia muy negativa."
