"We really enjoyed our stay in this Civil War era home. Very clean with plenty of towels and soaps. It had a good location in Sharpsburg. We walked to the bakery (twice), the ice cream shop and the library. Easy access to the Antietam Battlefield. Appliances worked as expected. We have stayed in numerous period homes and this home was by far the best equipped for preparing meals in the kitchen. Wi-Fi was very good and strong throughout the home. Great place to stay in Sharpsburg."

Out there and quiet for a get away and plenty to do inside for colder weather we loved the bookshelf full of board games and books and the piano to tinker around on! "We very much enjoyed our stay. The location can't be beat, right in the middle of everything, and yet with dedicated parking and a nice private outdoor area. We love quirky old townhouses like this, and it was in excellent condition with all the modern amenities, plus the hosts have a very nice sense of style that we appreciated. "We had a wonderful stay. Fantastic views from this cabin -- literally on top of the mountain. Hot tub was great, love the rocking chairs on the front porch, and really appreciate the games and "activites" in the house (like the basetball game in the basement). It was easy to bring our teenage boys and enjoy some down time for spring break. I'm sure the roads would be dicey in the winter but loved it and would definately stay there again."

"Cool location in town! We enjoyed visiting nearby antique shops, museum, coffee shop, and diners. I loved the front porch sitting. It was a short drive to historic Harpers Ferry. The kids enjoyed the games and books. The beds were super comfy. The bedding was clean and soft. I slept well, even though you can hear the trains working through the night. That added to the charm. The bathroom was gorgeous with exposed bricks and the shower had a rain shower head! Kim and Todd were excellent hosts. "
