Highly recommended. Great place for a night or however you want to stay. Super clean, comfortable beds, loved the retro style and colors. Convenient to everything in Shamrock. Management super friendly and helpful. Didn’t try the breakfast but it really smelled good when I walked by.

The room was very clean and comfortable. We were impressed with the personnel in that when we arrived late, he was helpful and quite friendly. No frills but definitely would stay there again!

When I arrive there are people hanging outside the hotel, some of them holding guns. One of them even pointed gun at me. I drove away and didnt stay. Recommend staying away from this place. I hope Expedia removes this hotel from listing, and refund me. The hotel owner needs to explain why there are gunmen hanging at hotel.

The inn was very clean for being an older property. The check in desk person was polite and helpful. The beds were very comfortable.

Very nice little motel. Clean, good hot breakfast and super reasonable price. Owner was extremely nice. Would recommend to anyone doing the Route 66 route .

Found this stop on our Route 66 road trip. Owner (I’m assuming he was the owner) was at front desk when we checked in. He is extremely friendly and courteous. Very helpful in explaining the area to us. Really enjoyed speaking with him. Check in process was hassle free. Room was quiet and beds were comfortable. If you’re looking for a modern facility and prefer newer hotels, this is not the place for you. However, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Although room was dated, it was clean. Really liked that we could park directly in front of our door to load and unload luggage. Breakfast was average. Enjoyed the added touch of Texas shaped waffles.

As always, this is the perfect place for a night traveling I-40. Clean, friendly, quiet, no stairs, comfortable beds, parking right in front of your room. Complementary breakfasts. Country Inn is a good value.

We have stopped here on our drive from Minnesota to AZ for the past 7 years. Very nice owners. We walked from the motel to Rusty's for a delicious pizza. Both on ROUTE 66

A gem in the middle of Shamrock. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. A fridge. Coffee maker. Bottled water. The most colorful bathroom walls you’ve ever seen. Ever. Very nice guy at the counter. Simple and fast checkin. Breakfast was eggs, gravy and biscuits. Coffee. Breads and peanut butter. A Belgian waffle maker. It was better than the holiday inn and a third of the price. Will definitely stay here again if I am ever in Shamrock, TX (that’ll be never - LOL)

Retro Route 66
The Shamrock Country Inn is very retro, from the aqua tub and toilet to the pink bathroom and sink area. The owners do a pretty good job of cleanliness for the old condition of parts of the room. The flooring looked fairly new, beds were comfy, and front desk friendly. Breakfast is minimal.

Not a fancy National Chain Inn. If you are expecting that, look elsewhere. If you want a clean comfortable room for a good night's sleep at a great price, this is the place.

There central heater was not working so they provide us a portable heater which was not warm enough for the night I wouldn’t not come back or recommend to anyone else

This motel was well-maintained and exra clean, especially considering its age. The ancient grout, cracked tiles and chipped tub were off-putting for me, though. I liked the cool 50's colors of the tiles, sinks, tub & small toilet. The bed was very comfortable although linens were very old, yet clean. Towels were old and rough, yet also clean. The value was good, breakfast was okay. I would take old & clean over newer and marginally clean any time. This place is unique and worth a visit.

This motel is a favorite! We look forward to staying at the Shamrock Country Inn when traveling across the country each year. It's a wonderful Route 66 retro motel, conveniently located along Route 40. We can consistently count on this motel being VERY clean,quiet, a cozy place to get a good night's sleep when traveling.The owner & staff are friendly and accommodating. A plus is the hot homemade breakfast of scrambled eggs and biscuits with coffee included every morning along with other breakfast items. Highly recommend this motel!
